The Spectrum Store on North Mercier Road in Kansas City provides services including broadband Internet, Mobile, and Cable TV. Customers can shop for new products, upgrade services, and pick up or return equipment. Experiences at the store vary. Many customers report long wait times for walk-ins, with lines often described as ridiculously long. The appointment system is highly recommended, as it allows for prioritized, quick service where customers can get in and out pretty fast. Without an appointment, waits can be excessive, sometimes due to a limited number of associates or complex transactions with other customers. Service from the associates is frequently described as really good, amazing, kind, and helpful. However, the process can feel annoying due to persistent efforts to upsell customers to other services. Some customers express frustration with billing, citing high prices for internet-only service and a lack of help in reducing their bill. There are also reports of spotty internet service during late night and early morning hours. The store could improve by streamlining operations, potentially with a scanning kiosk for returns or dedicated staff for specific tasks to reduce wait times and create a more efficient experience for all customers.
I can tell you the internet service is not great at all. Had issues for years and they never seemed to even care about trying to do anything other than lowering the price, yet you still get the same crappy service. 🤷♂️ 10/10 would never purchase through them again.

My mom and I went to the store to get our phones transferred over. Unique helped us and she was amazing! She was so funny and helped answer all our questions. Would definitely recommend!

They got me in and out pretty quick. I was swapping out a cable box. It was annoying how hard they tried to upsell me to their internet
