I discovered Something White Bridal Boutique when I saw an Instagram ad for the National Bridal Sale in July. Their appointment form was easy to fill out and I could mention what I wanted in a dress right there. Unfortunately, they didn't have gowns in my size (16) but I remained optimistic. Upon arrival, the stylists were very friendly. Bailey listened to all my ideas and pulled out beautiful dresses for me to try on. The dress I said YES to was the last dress I tried on because Bailey informed me it was not something that I initially wanted but before trying on the dress I could tell it was already gorgeous. My bridesmaid told me I walked out with such confidence in the dress I knew that was the one. While putting my downpayment on the dress, Paige, chatted with my bridesmaid who also got her dress at SWBB- Paige remembered her! The atmosphere was pleasant and my experience was surprisingly gratifying! The dress I picked was only slightly out of my price range but the sale was worth it- you only get to experience the right dress once! I can’t wait to be the future Mrs. and it’s all because I found my gown at Something White Bridal Boutique! SWBB estimated that my dress would arrive 6-7 months after the appointment since they would have to order my size but I was ecstatic when they called at 5 months and told me my dress arrived! They had reminded me via email if I needed to book an appointment for any accessories but that was not needed for me, and they also had recommended alterations. The giddiness of trying on my dress again has me counting down the days to pick it up AND until my wedding!

I cannot say enough incredible things about SWBB! After a different bridal boutique in Chesterfield, MO scammed me (and many other brides!) I was left without a dress 5 months before my wedding. After contacting the designer, they sent me to SWBB and I immediately knew I was in good hands! Carly was so reassuring and so eager to help me after such a terrible situation. In under 24 hours after finding out that my original dress had never been ordered back in July, Carly had an order placed with all of the same customizations I had wanted originally. Not only was she so efficient, she coordinated with the designer on my behalf to iron out all of the details and made sure that the dress would be delivered in time to allow for alterations. She answered all of my questions and is taking a very stressful situation and turning it around!! I will forever be thankful!

I am sad to be writing this as this shop is incredibly beautiful, has a wide selection of stunning dresses, and typically has had a great reputation. I have been in the shop 3 separate times over the past 5 years - 1 as a future bride and 2 times as a bridesmaid. The staff initially is very friendly and really does listen to preferences and has been well trained on trying to narrowing style characteristics to help find a dress tailored to an individual. What has turned me off each time I’ve been in is the change in conversation and attitudes towards the end of the appointment. If the bride has a pretty strong interest in a dress, they will absolutely say anything and everything to get a bride to purchase that day or put a deposit down. They blatantly ask customers if other appointments are booked at other boutiques and try to convince you that your appointment is the only time a bride could “have their moment when finding their dress.” If I recall correctly, the stylist that led the most recent appointment told our group that if my friend wanted to come back to purchase a gown, we would HAVE to have availability Tuesday thru Friday to return. In most scenarios, I would have appreciated that information, but her tone made it sound threatening and seemed inconvenient for the bride to bring all of her crew back in. I wanted to like this business, but they need to work on their saleswoman skills. Purchasing a $1500+ dress is a big deal for a lot of people. At the end, it seemed like they only were interested in pushing a sale and felt awkward when my friend walked away. I understand that ultimately this is a business, but making a decision on a large purchase sometimes isn’t to be done in a one day setting. I had completely different and positive experiences at other boutiques in the KC area both as a former purchaser and support for other brides.

The girls at SWBB all make you feel so comfortable and special while trying on dresses. I went into wedding dress shopping with a vision.. but after trying on some dresses that I wasn't in love with, Carly pulled a dress that was a little different from the vision but exactly what I needed!

I cannot recommend SWBB enough! My stylist, Carly, was absolutely amazing, and she truly helped me find my dream gown(s)! The staff at SWBB make you feel so comfortable and supported. I wish I could re-live my experience all over again! ?

Something White Bridal Boutique made wedding dress shopping a dream. I found my perfect dress here and could not be happier. Carly was absolutely wonderful. She was personable, easy to talk to, patient and really listened to my vision. The bridal shop was a small boutique, which provided a special experience from the moment you walked in (see personal welcome board). I went to a few other wedding shops and SWBB was by far the best experience (I wish I would have started here). Don't miss out, make sure you book an appointment at SWBB with Carly!

My experience at Something White Bridal Boutique was fantastic! Cheyenne was wonderful—she made me feel so special right from the start. She took the time to get to know my style and asked thoughtful questions as I tried on dresses, which really helped me figure out what I liked. I can be a bit indecisive, but Cheyenne made it easy to narrow it down and find THE dress!
Every gown I tried was gorgeous, and I felt completely supported the whole time. I would absolutely do this again! If you want a bridal boutique that truly cares, head to Something White! Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough good things about Something White! I had such a great experience. I felt so comfortable the whole time and Sarah never failed to make sure I felt amazing! She absolutely made the experience even better! The boutique is so cute with SO many beautiful gowns! 10/10 recommend!!!!

I came here looking for hair accessories, long story short my headband was destroyed and I needed a replacement. Surprisingly they were able to book me in the same day the headband met it's demise. The panel outside was a bit annoying. Made the call twice to get access inside but no one answered it and we were locked out. I tried calling their number to tell them I was outside but no one answered. My mother tried calling (way too much) and no one answered. Eventually we were let in and the lady was very apologetic that we had to wait like that.
It's nothing the staff can do to help but this place isn't exactly meant for the average bride. At least that's what it feels like. I'm short and average in size. All the brides I saw were tall leggy blondes size 4 and smaller. I was uncomfortable and nervous, almost like I didn't belong. My stylist while very nice, sometimes her responses felt more robotic, like she'd said it a million times just to make a bride light up. She asked what my dress looked like and she wanted to see my ring. Her responses like "That's gorgeous" sounded a bit theatrical.
However, she had some great tips and tricks for my hair because I had no clue if I wanted to wear it up or down or what even looked right. I told her I'm more of a tomboy, jewelry and makeup are not top priorities for me. My first headband was a slip it on and go kind, that's how little I pay attention to these things. When I was uncertain, she said something to me that was all too true. "You're not going to hurt my feelings saying you don't like what I bring you to try." Then things got a little easier for me. It really was about what I thought looked good, no one else could dictate that for me. She brought two headbands over, one was a single strand and the other was two strands. I felt beautiful with the two stranded one. She even said I looked happier with it than the other headband.
Something White is good for more than just searching for that right dress. I wasn't their only emergency case, another bride's veil was a victim of an unfortunate event.

I found my dress at Something White Bridal! This experience was amazing. I went to another boutique previous to this and the dress quality and experience was so much better at something white. They have so many styles and you can tell that they carefully curate their collection of dresses. Carly was amazing. I would definitely recommend setting up an appointment with her if you can. She made me feel so comfortable, but also picked me some dresses I might not have picked on my own (which spoiler she picked THE dress). Also the prices of the dresses for the quality is unmatched. And the veils and accessories they have are beautiful. I got my dress, veil, and hairpiece all within my budget with room for alterations. Can’t wait until everything comes in!

Carly was amazing to work with!! She asked me all the questions to help figure out what I was really looking for when I came in not really knowing what I wanted except for the few pictures I had on my Pinterest board (which she had already taken the time to look at)! Everything exceeded my expectations and they truly made everything feel so easy and helped me find my absolute DREAM dress! I would choose Something White Bridal Boutique 1000x over!
