Shield Storage would have been an easy five out of five stars if not for the hours of operation. The staff is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and polite both in person and on the phone. I really wish that shield storage was open 24 hours a day, but I understand also that security is that much better by not being open 24 hours. Is Google could allow me to rate shield storage a 4.9 out of five stars I would.

The lady at the front named Sonya had the worst customer service. She was rude and just straight hateful. I was helping move someone in, I would definitely not recommend this place at all. If it were me I would’ve told her to keep the money and cancel the reservation. Terrible.

This is the 2nd place I've rented a storage unit from,& has a few noticeable differences comparing an outdoor access place where I was able to arrange 24 hr access to a climate controlled 1 like this. When people still don't close the dock doors between uses,a certain amount of the advantage of climate control is noticeably lost,& I do miss being able to get to things whenever, but here I know my stuff is better monitored by cameras & overall access in general,plus come winter I won't have a repeat of a couple February's ago when I went in at 430a when temps were in single digits,& found out an hour or so later that between playing music & having utilized my truck's lights to see,when I went to leave my battery was so dead it didn't even click & my window was rolled down to boot. I had to huddle as close as I could in a secluded spot til the office by front gate opened at 9,just to stumble in & warm up for a few in the only available bathroom I knew of(another advantage here), before making my way to the parts store with my dead battery. That'll make you question how wonderful that type of setup really is...

Theresa at the front office was able to come in on a Saturday morning to get me checked in to my storage unit. She made the process easy and quick to get set up and unit was clean. Great service.
