The name should be changed to Takers. Savers is great if you're 100% certain the clothes you're buying are going to fit. But they don't have a dressing room, do good luck. If the clothes don't fit, Savers has basically stolen your money because they have a 'no returns' policy. You can try to exchange for something else, but then you're rolling the dice again and going through the same nonsense; and if you don't find something else, you're stuck with clothes that don't fit; which I'm sure Savers will happily take as a donation.

The store itself is clean and always have great donations BUT THE COST THEY ARE PUTTING ON THESE ITEMS IS INSANE. Coming from a past thrift roller, these prices are beyond ridiculous for items that are used?? They charge more for used items than what they pay there staff!! These people are working for less than 12 an hour, some of the employees have been there for years. If you’re going to charge ridiculous prices on donated items I would atleast expect the company to pay there employees a fair living wage!!! It’s sad and they will continue to lose business till they start pricing items at donation value! This store use to be amazing 5 years ago. Management obviously does not care about the customers or employees at that. I WANNA SEE CHANGE FROM THIS COMPANY!

I've always been a heavy shopper at value village/savers. I regularly shop at multiple locations. This one really takes the cake though. Every one of their staff appears to absolutely hate their jobs. Constantly walking around with a scowl on their face. Today I approached the jewelry counter and the lady working it refused to even acknowledge my presence. Ended up unable to purchase anything due to lack of help. If you can, go to the Shawnee or Overland Park locations instead of this one.

Savers in liberty has to be the dirtiest savers in all of Kansas City. And the prices are higher than any of the other savers. I'd say that the prices are higher than where the items came from originally.

As a former owner and longtime resale therapy enthusiast, I was very disappointed. Found dirty and even damaged items $$. If items are worthy of a higher price, I will happily pay for them, however I found nothing priced fairly. Coffee cups with no value near $5! Why? The cheapest one I found was $2.49. Stained off brand child sweatshirt $10.49. Clothes and shoes are cheaper at Ross, or Walmart. Wares (household decor) cheaper at HomeGoods. No sale offered on anything, unless you spend $100 with a coupon you get with your donation.
I really enjoyed Hillcrest 10X better, go where you actually save.

Another Savers getting a one star for committing to the grift. Note: Savers gets all their stuff donated to them because people think they are a non-profit when they aren't. They are run like a business, which is why everything is so expensive. You can still find deals but you have to really look and hope the people looking stuff up on eBay in the back missed something. The one thing this Savers has going for it is it is huge and they had a huge selection of puzzles and games which is one of the things I'm always looking out for. The problem is you shouldn't be putting out puzzles for $4-5 when 9 times out of 10 they're missing pieces. Some of the games there were $10 plus. Nice games but cracking them open it was obvious pieces were missing. So, in short. They want to gouge you for as much money as possible while putting in as little work as possible on the quality control front.

I've been to this location a handful of times. I've always felt like it was quite overpriced for being items that were 100% donated but could still find an item or two that appeared to be reasonable. Yesterday I picked up a decorative bottle and thought it was way overpriced but I'm working on a project that I need to complete so I grabbed it anyway. That's when I noticed that the original price tag was still on the bottom of the bottle priced at $3.00, Savers, priced it at $5.99. I was told by an employee that it was an oversight. When I went home I looked at a handful other bottles that I had purchased from them within the last couple of weeks, 2 of them also had the original price on the bottom and savers had also priced those at double the original price. I won't shop at a Savers again. I would rather go to a retail store and pay less for unused items at full price than support a "thrift" store that is gouging used, donated goods.

Went to donate gently used baby items to this place and the kids taking donations had the nerve to tell me to not bring my donations to the bins. Savers won't be getting my donations anymore.

Excellent! They have always great finds. The store is very clean and and well organized. The staff is also very friendly. We had to shelter in place because of a Tornado warning in the area. The staff moved everyone in tho the save location.
