Drs are excellent! But their billing system needs some work! Be careful paying the hospital because if you don't end up owing the hospital but the physician, they can't figure out how to coordinate their billing between the two and will send you to collections!

They are charging twice the national average for services such as an echocardiogram and do not disclose that prior to the service being performed. You need to price shop them because you can get the same service performed elsewhere at a much lower cost.

I shared my terrible experience at Saint Luke's approx 3 years ago. Not only was I denied pain medication, I was sent home after being told I had no kidney stone.I recently had a kidney stent and a PCNL to remove a massive 27mm staghorn kidney stone at NKCH. Be like NKCH, find the stone.

St Luke's emergency room is HIGHLY inefficient and I am angry at their lack of concern. My first experience here was (is) HORRIBLE and I will be voicing my opinion on every outlet I can. My 81 year old father came in through the emergency dept to St Luke's bc his regular hospital wasn't accepting anymore ppl through the ER (which St Luke's should be doing). My dad was indeed placed in an ER bed right when he came in which is the ONLY POSITIVE. I sat in the ER waiting for them to call me backthere to see him and there were about 8 to 10 ppl who had been waiting to be seen for over 5 hours. FIVE HOURS!!!!! That is highly unacceptable. So after about 30 minutes, I was allowed to go back to my dad's ER room which was around 10pm. The nurses barely came back to check on him until I repeatedly pressed the call button. The doctor didn't come in the room until after about 4 hours. It was determined at around 4am that he had to be admitted. AGAIN... My dad got to the hospital around 9:30pm and at 4am, they determined that he needed to be admitted. I stayed there in the ER that WHOLE TIME BC I DIDN'T TRUST THE STAFF. As I am writing this, it is now 9:50am and he is STILL IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. I was told that he will not be getting a room on the floor until the evening. WHAT?!?! That is utterly ridiculous and angering. THIS HOSPITAL IS NOT EFFICIENT AND IS SLOW. I will NEVER EVER GO BACK HERE. I don't care if I am half dead, take me to another hospital. I am highly upset and I will be a Super Karen and tell anyone and everyone my experience. This has to change and I cannot wait until my father is discharged. He will never return.

Absolutely the worst place to go, go here as a absolute last resort. They denied my little handicapped brother basic services and refused provide handicapped parking, they just laughed in his face. This institution masquerades as a religious organization, however this is the most unchristian thing I’ve ever experienced in my life.

Completely incompetent. It'll take 6 mo.ths to a year to get in and then they want to milk your insurance for a series of shots that won't work.
