I have been an online customer for several years. Here are my experiences. First, there is a link "Tell us your birthday. We want to send you a special birthday wish. Share your date". So, I did just that in 2023. I "Join our Birthday Club" by submitting my month and day. When the month rolled around, I didn't receive anything. I contacted Customer Service but no response. I got an outside business involved to resolve the issue. After many backs and forth, I was given a 30% discount on my next order. The representative claimed this the "special birthday wish". How could that be when during the year, an occasional 30% discount was offered to the public? Second, this year, 2024, I received a 30% discount coupon on a "missed you" email. When I went to use it, it only gave me about 15% off. I contacted customer service but again no response. Again, asked for assistance from outside business. The case was unresolved. I can no longer do business with Russell Stover as trust has been lost. I, also, unscripted to the company. BEWARE!

Just did a quick research when I read the complaints from long term customers. Talks of less nuts, more cream and coconut, half the size , and lots more plastic fill in. Come to find out company was sold in 2014 to Swiss chocolate makers , Lindt. Large plant was closed in 2021. So they are to blame for the quality going way down. Seems like it has become more about the profit. I have not been a fan of this company but am a fan of chocolate so I did a quick research for the love of chocolate and the followers of this company who are noticing a quality difference. I welcome you all to come on over to Godiva! I don’t think you will be disappointed with quality but price will be a rough pill to swallow but every bite is worth it to me on special occasions:)

My mother is 84 years old with dementia. Sometime in the last week, she somehow managed to place an order of Russell Stover candy. She has no memory of placing the order and doesn't even want itCompany refuses to accept return of items (via Gina and Caroline) and were quite rude on the issue. She will have other bills which are unable to be paid this month as a resultThe fact that this company does not have accomodations for weird situations like this is truly mind boggling.

I am 78. I have been eating these for at least 50 years. Had chocolates all over the world. Never found one as good. Hersheys bar is close 2nd. Over the years Russell stover is getting skimpy. Bigger plastic deviders and papers 1/2 full. Prices going up for less product. Assorted has too many cream filled. Assorted NUTS HAVE FEWER ACTUAL NUTS,while adding more coconut ones. Doubt more than 1 cent coconut in each..

Just bought box of chocolate covered nuts, looks like a 5-yr-old filled the paper wrappers, some 1/3 full, one over the top. Overall, not pleasing to look at, very cheap looking, mostly peanuts. Definitely not buying any more.

I bought a box of your marshmallow eggs at Easter and they were half the size that they used to be and were stale. The price wasn't half either. I contacted them and was promised a gift certificate and like other reviews have never received it. I am done with Russell Stover!!! You ought to be ashamed!

Used to love Whitman and Russell Stovers but I think that’s about done now! Been waiting since January 5th for a “Gift certificate” in the mail so I can get something that’s actually worth eating not a faulty package! Literally purchased the Whitmans assorted sampler big box and all the chocolates were off the bottoms of all the crèmes were hollow or pushed in. I had one tray that had peanuts and then one that had 2 chocolate covered peanuts in it! All I want is what I paid for. I’ve let it go and it’s been 3 months now and you always say the same thing…”we have to wait for our gift certificates to come in the mail which takes 4-6 weeks” it’s been 3 months come on if you don’t want to mail me the gift certificate then stop saying that stop sending the same message, I can clearly tell by the emails it’s not a big deal to you guys but I can’t work I’m disabled and have cancer so what money I spend is tight and I was having a bad day and decided I’d buy myself some chocolate, just to be more upset that I spent $$ on faulty chocolate! Now I’m done being a karen that’s just crazy it takes a company this long and I’m sorry I don’t believe it. You went from a 5 star to a 1 star real quick.
