This was my 2nd time leasing here. I was very sad to leave, but we recently bought a home. Everyone in the office was so attentive and nice! (Especially Megan) Anytime I had a maintenance issue they were prompt and knowledgeable, as well as fixing it immediately. The property& units were very clean.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to live in the city. Also, they were really great at bringing residents together with fun events!

As a renter of 12 years in many different places, I have never lived in a better facility. After living in RM WEST for over two years, I just need to say that the apartment and community are top class in every aspect. Maintenance issues are fixed quickly, management is personable, understanding, and friendly, and the location of the building is unmatched. Megan in management is so friendly, in particular, and has actually become a dear friend

They make promises they don’t keep. The problem arose the week before I was going to move in. My biggest issue was wanting a parking spot in the garage and they had promised it to me several times, but when it came to signing the lease, of course the parking was not in there. They said a guaranteed parking spot would be in the lease. They had given me four separate leases and they kept not guaranteeing parking. Be warned that they are trying to bait and switch you in to signing a lease. They took my admin and application fee even though I wasn’t getting what they promised. They were extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone when I wouldn’t just sign the lease.

Living at RM West was great, but when it was time to move out I was surprised to be disappointed.
Living at RM West was great, the gym equipment is new and the gym is fair size for most common gym hours. The pool is small and sometimes felt like it needed a bit more chlorine but got amazing sun during the day and has a nice grill area. The rooftop was a great view as well, and the second smaller gym was nice when the main one got crowded.
Staff was always friendly, tried to get to know you and would say hello whenever you’d come in and out during office hours. Maintenance was quick to respond to any issues as well! The hallways and common areas were kept clean by a great cleaning staff that were super friendly as well. I felt very welcomed by the building as a whole. The units are updated but sometimes a bit showing of wear and tear, be careful with move in and taking plenty of pictures and updating the office on any damages.
The biggest disappointment came when I received move out charges. The staff attempted to charge my pet-free household $400 extra dollars for “pet urine stains”. Having no pets, this came as a shock. What followed was a long back and forth battle of emails with one office staff, then their manager, then they promptly sent me to the corporate debt collection. I then had to reach out to the debt collection team who had no idea I was sent over, which meant another full explanation of my case for not being charged for others pet damage. Finally after about a month and a half of arguing my point, we were able to remove the charges that should not have been present in the first place.
My recommendation to anyone moving here would be to take a full video walk through, lots of pictures, and raise any concerns FAST and in WRITING with staff when you move in. Due to this hassle I probably would not feel welcome to risk living here again.

Avoid This Apartment Complex!
If you're living on your own for the first time, steer clear of this building. They take advantage of students and young people. My daughter needed constant help due to their numerous issues and unfair charges.
The red flags began when my daughter, moving from far away, couldn't tour the apartment. Megan handed her the keys without providing an official tour as promised. Megan was attentive until the lease was signed, then disappeared. Attempts to meet with Megan or Jessica were met with delayed responses or no responses at all. Megan was also unprofessional, rolling her eyes and shrugging off concerns. Shockingly, Megan also gave my daughter her classmate's personal information, including his apartment number, even though they weren't friends.
The apartment has extremely thin walls, leading to constant noise. My daughter's peers broke their leases early due to the disruptions. Even after contacting the regional manager, Caitlin, the front office staff remained unhelpful, and maintenance workers admitted the front office did nothing. They constantly made excuses, and we had to repeatedly follow up to get anything done. The regional manager failed to take action or hold them accountable; the staff only received a slap on the wrist.
Changes only happened after my daughter left a negative review, and then she was asked to remove it—imagine how often that happens. This shows the complex only cares about money, not tenant well-being. Women of color receive even less respect. We had to involve paralegals and the health department to get any action, which not everyone can do.
Additionally, their prices change daily. Be aware that an apartment price can increase by a couple hundred dollars overnight, which I haven't seen anywhere else.
The complex has a serious pigeon problem that they refuse to address. My daughter was never shown the filthy balcony before moving in. She moved out, and we finally experienced a better living situation elsewhere.
In summary, this apartment complex does not care about its tenants. Avoid it to save yourself stress and frustration.

I was a resident here for 4 years through 3 different property management companies (NorthPoint [great!], Lincoln Property [not so good]> Horizon [okay]). With Horizon, Jessi in maintance and Meagan in the office are great! The property wouldn't be as friendly without those two. :)The River Market is a great area and downtown is super accessible. It's nice having a pool onsite and how often it's open is dependent on how residents treat it (i.e., no glass or other incidents impacting chemical levels). Views from the Phase II (237) are a crowd pleaser! While Phase II is newer, the construction materials of the units seem cheaper than Phase I. There are short-term rentals (i.e., Airbnb) at this property. Hallways often smelled of marijuana. Like any wood frame complex, noise can be heard from neighbors above and next door. Valet Trash not consistently reliable. I was not charged any move out fees with my lease with Horizon beginning 2022.Phase I (228) parking is paid to RM West but the attached garage is not managed by them; there had been turnover over of this management at least twice during my time. The public can pay to enter the garage so it should not be considered secure. My car was sideswipped and broken into once each. Police reports and property management notified each time.Reviews mentioning Dialo, Alexis, Leah, are from Lincoln Property's time & reviews mentioning Jessica or Shelby are from NorthPoint's time.

Moved in a few months ago and it's been great! I wanted to especially shoutout Jessi. I have worked with resolve several issues with him since moving in and he's been quick to resolve them all. Would not only recommend moving into RM, but also working with Jessi to make your move in as seamless as possible!
