What an unpleasant experience. The woman at the check out desk was unabashedly rude. She made it clear that customers were bothering her when she was asked to do her job.

Interesting items and people. I hope that the customer looking at and trying on the white fake fur coat bought it. He would have looked smashing in it. If you go to the lengths of trying it on, it's yours. It's got your name all over it.

First timers here.
Perfect antique shop. Definitely can spend a few hours in here. Great prices and a wonderful mix of items.
Everyone was friendly. We did feel like we were being followed around, but I can appreciate the fact that they're looking out for their vendors. I imagine people steal, so I'm not offended by it.
Definitely recommend!

We stumbled upon River Market Antiques in the Quay area west of the city market in KC.
You have to check your bags into a locker at the front, which is a shame, but such it is in this sticky finger society we live in. Come on people respect other peoples things and stop five finger discounting items.
This store is huge and I can’t take the time to do all four floors in one visit. It’s simply sensory overload at a certain point, but then again I have multiple TBIs. Some days I’m lucky if I can figure out which key opens my door.
This place has a great selection of hard to find items and I’d stand to bet you can find one of whatever it is you’re looking for here. From the eclectic to the beginning of anything electric it’s here on one of these expansive floors.
The place is clean, well organized, and well taken care of. The staff was amazingly helpful and I loved it. We felt welcome and did I mention free coffee snd hot drinks on hand
I did two floors and my brain was scrambled. I’ll be back soon for sure.
This is one of the coolest Antique places I’ve ever been.

Full of wonder and discovery! The River Market Antique store is unlike any place you've ever experienced. The staff and community are absolutely exceptional. I would highly recommend and encourage a visit!

After having a cordial visit about our RV with a nice man, we walked in the door and a young woman barked the order for us to move-at the nice guy. She never addressed us nor looked at us. ‘Our boss says blah, blah, blah…can’t park in the customer lot…they can park on the street. Needless to say it was a quick stop.

Love this place! We spend hours in here with the nieces and nephews showing what the past used to be like and they always have a great time. Try to go at least once a month to check out what the sellers add. Everyone has always been very friendly.

The smell inside the store is BAD. It’s like incense combined with moth balls and coffee. I could barely stand it. The stalls are filled with so much stuff that you can barely walk through it without bumping something. There’s a lot of old stuff to look at but the setup isn’t great. The smell more than anything will keep me from coming back.

Apparently they make you lock up your purse and make you announce your medical needs if you have them. What terrible people.
