Love, love, love this shop! So grateful my friend introduced me years ago. I have a closet full of dresses that I love! If you have ever had dressing-room-dread, this will be a healing place for you. Sometimes, all I need is to hear is a "ooooooo, gurl" or a queer squeal and clap for allllllll these curves to help me feel better. Retail therapy at its finest! A few of the dresses I have... lol... it doesn't help that my awesome hairdresser is next door!

Cannot say enough good things about this place to hope to convince other people to go here!! It’s such an experience and the new remodel is AMAZING!! We love going in, saying hello, and have a hard time not buying a ton of the cute clothes and jewelry. High fashion, with a more reasonable price point than most places, with constant sales and something for every fashionista out there!

Be sure to check it out ?These lovely gals are some of my favorite people and throughout the years I have shopped here my sense of self, my style, and my confidence have grown tremendously. I loved my experience here! Visiting from Nebraska and wanted to stop in after following on IG for awhile. Jess was working and is the cutest & sweetest person! She has a knack for knowing what might suit someone and genuinely seems excited to help people play dress up :) made my shopping trip fun!

Such a fun place to look around. The ladies are so nice and helpful. They have large selection of sizes in their items. It was fun to play dress up and walk out with a whole outfit, including accessories.

I was looking for something to wear to a 1940s inspired cocktail party. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I found something perfect for the occasion and ended up walking out with a really pretty fur inspired cape. Thanks for the help. Looking forward to showing off my outfit at my party.

I have been a devout fan of Retro Vixen on their social media pages for years and wanted to visit in person for an upcoming wedding I'm attending. I attended their 5th anniversary birthday party, so the shop was gussied up with balloons and cupcakes (they were delicious.) There is something for all body shapes and sizes here, which is SO impressive and a must for 2023. I was given a space to try on clothes. The staff helped me pick out the perfect accessories (a belt with a beautiful bow) and a stunning green cardigan. They also have a punch card, so for every $25 you spend you get one step closer to another punch on your card (full punch card = discount.) Thank you so much!

Went in today in search of something for both a 20s party and an 80s party for an upcoming trip. Jess and Melissa were both so helpful and fun to be around! I had a blast trying on their amazing outfits, and found all that I went in there for and more. I am even more excited for my trip after after my purchases today. I can’t wait to visit their boutique again soon!

Prom dress shopping and had a lot of let downs today, but this place was an amazing diamond in the rough that I will be returning to. Amazing vibes. Wonderful workmanship. Friendly staff. Great prices.

This is always on our list of places to stop by when we are in KC.Their staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and willing to assist with finding you the right clothes or accessories. We love the atmosphere and they have a wonderful selection of retro clothes.Please shop and support more small businesses.
