Prices are stupid high!

This is the worst priced thrift store I’ve ever been to. If you’re familiar with Red Racks, their prices are usually a bit higher than other thrift stores, but this one on another level. Racks are overflowing with clothes and other items making them hard to browse. I’d try another store if you’re trying to buy clothes secondhand.

Pricing is insane. Everything in the store is priced at almost if not over retail value. I was looking at a shelf of lego at the end of their counter (not behind the counter) and most of the bags were filled with junk pieces that were priced 40-50 dollars a bag. I was looking right in front of one of the employees but after a few minutes the manager lady told us we couldn't be there. Insane. Trying to sell junk at high prices without even being able to look at it. The place feels like a scam.

Ridiculously overpriced items. They look on eBay for their prices. For a nonprofit organization, I'm sure they make bunch of profit.

No fittings rooms, no return policy. Only exchanges.
No sense in exchanging anything if you can’t try it on. Waste of time

Problem at this location recently. Items being priced at asking price comps and not sold. Store is a hot mess with overflow because pricing is way off. I comp sold on what I am interested in there. To high on prices. Yes, goes to vets I was told - but I also have it from vets they don’t want people getting ripped off on their behalf. This is posted August. Check your clothing - shirts missing buttons marked full price at high prices - rips, tears and loose seam stitches. Check for broken.

Way overpriced. Most of what I would have bought was priced at our above what I would pay retail. There good amount of inventory and some interesting items. The two staff members I talked to were super nice guys.

Even a star is kind, you’ll get better prices going to the mall or eBay! The prices are ridiculously high! Keep in mind they get all this for free

Manager is extremely rude and unprofessional and obviously she loves and clings to whatever power she has and uses that power to try and spread her misery. The prices are also absolutely insane. This place isn't here to help those in need, if it was they would operate in a completely different manner. I don't even want to imagine how awful it must be as an employee here working under her.

PRICING THEMSELVES OUT OF BUSINESS!
$20 for t-shirts, donated t-shirts, donated t-shirts originally bought from Target for $11. Insane. Absolutely insane. Why is no one addressing this issue?!?! Look thru the reviews, sooooo many people agree with me. I thought thrift stores were for people in need, people who can’t afford to spend a lot of money.. this place is a joke. I hope they go out of business. They’re so expensive even during 50% sales, everything in the store is out of my means.

I have donated so much stuff here, and I’ve shopped a handful of times. I refuse to do either now. The staff can be prickly and unfriendly, and the prices are astronomical compared to other thrift stores.
This last time that I went, I found a trio of mini figures in a bin full of junky toys. I brought them to the register thinking that they’d be a couple of quarters each, but the woman who runs the place had quite the snooty attitude when she snapped, “Oh no, those are worth far more.”
She proceeds to snatch them away, hastily Googles for retail pricing right at the register, and then quotes me seven dollars per figure. Keep in mind that these are MINI and not full-size. They were smaller than my pinky.
I said forget it and I’m glad I did because when I got home, I looked them up myself and found that they come in a set of 12 for 12 dollars. So I can get the whole set brand new for far less than she wanted to charge me for the three that her store received as a free donation. This wasn’t just a cashier, she was the manager or supervisor (idk her exact title nor name).
I don’t know if she thought that I was a reseller (I’m not; I wanted to get the figures for one of my kids), or if she just didn’t understand what she was looking up, but it felt like deliberately aggressive price gouging judging by the unwarranted attitude that she directed toward me even though I was polite. It was just a really unpleasant experience.
Books, DVDs, and other media are priced higher here than anywhere else. I don’t shop the clothes so I cannot speak to their prices. The used shoes and purses are very high. The toys are (obviously) ridiculous and they’ll charge you near retail for something that’s broken with missing pieces.
You can find some truly unique and eclectic tchotchkes, but be willing to pay out the nose for ‘em. As for me, I’ll no longer donate nor shop here after the stunt that was pulled on me over a few toy figures.

Yeah I was a dummy and bought a cricut machine from here. The woman working said she plugged it in personally and it worked but if it didn’t just to bring it right back and they will refund up to seven days. Of course I get home and it doesn’t work. I called cricut and they said the machine is not repairable once it gets the red power button. So I come back up to red racks and the woman says no returns on electronics.
