Such a wonderful bookstore with very friendly service! Classic titles in many different subjects. Neat, relaxing spaces in which to browse and read. Chill vibe from both patrons and the space. Cool t-shirts are available as well.(Posting pics I'm thinking aren't too oft-posted as opposed to the more standard fare.)

Would agree that Prospero’s is one of the best used book stores I’ve been to. 3 floors. I’ve yet to walk out of here empty handed. *Ask the story about the “Jack-a-phesa-lope”.

Nice old school used book store with varied selection of books. Seems to turn over quickly. Cash discount is nice as well.

Always an amazing place to come explore and see what new books they've got (and catch up with all the new writing on the downstairs shelves)!! Prospero's is absolutely a cornerstone of the reading community in KC, and I hope this local legend stays flourishing.

Outstanding service and this place is everything a bookstore should be. Love the feel. Dont miss the 3rd floor at the back, there are hidden stairs up and there are neat little nooks up there to spend a few hours reading.

Three levels of books! Seems like it would be a perfect spot to cozy up and read something, and hang out with friends.
