Brakes we're making a funny sound when we reversed. Alex checked them out and was honest about the issue! They were just wet and rusted from all the rains... plenty if brake pads left. No charge for his time. What a great guy!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Value Auto Repair's exceptional service. I had been having brake and wheel bearing problems for quite some time, and I had taken my vehicle to several auto repair shops in search of a solution. Unfortunately, none of them were able to identify the issue and provide a suitable solution. When I brought my vehicle to Value Auto Repair, their skilled technicians were able to quickly diagnose the problem and inform me that my brakes and wheel bearings were faulty. They were able to provide a detailed explanation of the problem as well as an accurate repair estimate. Throughout the entire process, the Value Auto Repair team was also extremely friendly and professional. They kept me updated on the progress of the repairs, including photos, and were able to complete the work on time. My vehicle was running like new when I left Value Auto Repair. The brakes and wheel bearings were in perfect working order, and I was able to drive with confidence once more. I wholeheartedly recommend Value Auto Repair to anyone in need of dependable auto repair services. They truly exceeded my expectations, and I will return for any future repairs.

Hands down the best experience I've ever had with a mechanic. May Alex live long and prosper. He was fast, his prices were great, and he's such a nice person. Do yourself a favor and get in to see Alex if you need anything done on your car. He even sent me pics of the work he was doing. I've never had a mechanic do that before.

I was impressed right away when I requested a quote. They got back to me in a matter of minutes. The pricing was also very good for brakes. I tried to get my brakes done closer to where I live. The price didn't come close, so I drove to National City . They had it done quickly, and the customer service was outstanding!

I came here just over a year ago, was moving out if San Diego and was going to be towing a u-haul container, so needed brakes checked. I thought i needed new brakes & that's what I came for. Alex had them checked & said I didn't need a break change, the break pads were good, almost new. He recommended resurfacing the break rotors and said if after test driving, if i saw no difference I didn't have to pay, but if I did then I could pay for the work. Needless to say, the honesty was refreshing! Took a test drive, it was great and I paid for the honesty & work done! Would definitely recommend & come here again to have work done!! Great place, honest & trustworthy!!

I needed a break pad replacement for my BMW X2, but I hate taking it to the dealership for service. I called Value this morning, they took my car right away, and were finished in a few hours...all for a fraction of the cost and none of the headaches I'd get at the dealership. They were incredibly friendly, didn't try to push stuff on me I didn't need, and I happily went about my day. I will 100% go back.
