The entire team is fabulous! The vets are extremely knowledgeable and very skilled. They genuinely care about your animals! The vet techs are remarkable. They're friendly and intelligent. Platte Woods Animal Hospital is proud to have been offering exceptional veterinary care to the Kansas City area since 1971. We are a small animal practice that treats many types of animals including but not limited to cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs. We have proudly been an AAHA Accredited hospital since 1995, meeting the highest standards set in veterinary medicine. We are a full service animal hospital that is open 6 days a week. We take emergency cases during business hours and provide overnight hospitalization to those who need it. We also treat less urgent medical needs providing care in orthopedics, dental, reproductive, and general wellness among many other types of medicine.
