This is the first time I’ve ever been able to take my dog to the vet and they made the experience super easy. Explained everything I was confused about and handled my nervous dog really, really well. The staff are incredible and I appreciate that. Thank you.

They have beautiful birds isolated and kept alone.. very sad, they sell them for $1,000s of dollars so they never get a home.
I just adopted two birds.... Cost about $30 for the birds and $100 for their accessories.
I like Petco because of their selections and they have a chameleon. ? Birds thing is messed up though.

Bought a 35 pack of there giant mealworms today and came home to only 9 being in there… I have two reptiles and that doesn’t even feed one fully.. I knew better and should have just went to miles of exotics.

Pretty small place. I was looking for a few select items and they were overpriced by comparison to the farm store closer to my house. I did get some good prices on dog food and treats.

I come in to this location almost every week for cat litter and have for the last three years straight with my husband, and normally I’m helped by Vladimir who is wonderful with customer service. Today it was a new trainee, which was completely fine, except they were out of the cat litter we normally get so we asked her if there’s a way for them to order it. She said no but we can ship it straight to your house, free of shipping. We said that would be fine, and she proceeded to ring us up. We had also grabbed a terrarium liner for purchase, before she rang it i specifically asked if it was going to be on one transaction, to which she said yes. She rang me up, and it only charged me 30 dollars, to which I was confused because together it would be 50 something. Then she started a new transaction and I started to get irritated because I already had voiced I only wanted to do shipping if it could be on the same transaction. She charged the same amount AGAIN on my card. I told her it wasn’t right and that we needed a refund, and the guy who clearly had more experience than her sat there and ignored the situation while helping other guests. We asked if it just charged me again and she said “well I hope not” while laughing. So I asked the bald man if he’d help us and he said “give me a minute” with an attitude. We asked him what was going on and why she charged us if she wasn’t 100% sure that it was correct. He seemed very nonchalant and like he couldn’t give a s*** less. Told us “there’s no way to refund since there’s a hold on our money” and asked “do you even know how banks work.” I work in customer service and this treatment was absolutely outrageous and uncalled for. The customer is always right, you don’t argue. ?
Oh and just to update, this happened on August 30th, 2024 it’s now September 4th, 2024 and I still don’t have a penny back in my account. So he took my money, cancelled the transaction INSTEAD of refunding it as he was trained to do, to purposefully be a crappy person. This place is ridiculous I won’t be coming back, petsmart gained a new customer.

We were 45 minutes late due to going to the wrong pet store. Their staff made us feel like it was no problem. And still saw Toby for his shots. The store is pet friendly, and we had fun watching Toby pick out his own treat. The only negative was that the groomer was not there during posted hours of operation. I like the DIY area for bathing your pet.
It's a great place overall.
