“We just had our 2012 Toyota Prius C serviced at Sallas Auto Repair and had a MARVELOUS experience! From start to finish, it was a true pleasure dealing with everyone on staff.
We received estimates from our usual shop (that does not specialize in Toyotas) and contacted Sallas for a second opinion. Jeramiah handled our case and was able to provide a very reasonable estimate for the work. He was friendly, patient with our questions, and very knowledgeable regarding the amount of labor and parts needed to complete the repairs.
Scheduling our appointment was super easy; I simply sent Jeramiah an email regarding our best available days and times, and we were able to settle on a good date within the week.
We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and check-in was fast and efficient. The team wasn't sure how long the repairs would take, but promised to contact us as soon as possible with an approximate pick-up time. Sure enough, Jeramiah called within 4 hours to let us know all the repairs were done and they were finishing up the alignment process. He carefully and fully explained the work done at that time. He called again (within 30 minutes) once the car was ready for pick-up and gave us a final review of the vehicle's performance. We appreciate the fast service, especially given the extent of the work!
When we arrived to pick up the car, Kelly assisted us in check-out. She was friendly and efficient and very gracious. We were able to pay with a personal check (not always the case at car shops), which we appreciated. The cost ended up being competitive or better than other auto shops we'd researched.
We're glad that AAA has given their stamp of approval to Sallas Auto Repair. They are a quick, friendly, professional, and clean shop, and deserve the recognition. Jeramiah even took the time to contact us after the fact to let us know the AAA discount had been applied to our account. “This is one of my favorite places in Kansas City. Bulk spices, (unique ones at that!), flower seeds, feed for animals, gift sets for everyone in the family, and gorgeous flowers in the spring, summer and fall! They have fun trinkets and things you can actually use for your yard or farm and it's all located in a delightful old building with wood floors that still creak and the architecture is absolutely marvelous to look at while shopping! Please pick up some of their dip mixes- they are awesome for chips/ veggies or even just to marinate with! Have fun!”

“I purchased Rockwood shutters from Home Depot. The sales people were nice, helpful. I had a choice of doing a virtual measure of my windows with a rep from Rockwood or having someone come to my home. I chose virtual. Skeptical but WOW. Candy Armer from Rockwood was awesome. Together, we got it done with little effort and she got me an estimate. Next, I got an email from a member of Rockwood's Concierge team. They informed me that they were there for me throughout the process. They made arrangements for the final measure. The installer came and was terrific. We went over all the details, how the shutters would be mounted, open, close. My windows can be tilted in and cleaned top and bottom -- all accounted for. A date was set for installation, Doug came, installed them AS SCHEDULED. NO DRAMA and I L O V E this product. They are gorgeous! I highly recommend both Home Depot and Rockwood. Home Depot has the BEST payment plans to you can pay over time. I've done it many times and had great success. Rockwood exceeded my expectations multiple times.”

The garden center has an alright selection of plants, even a few heirlooms in the spring.
The staff is usually friendly and helpful. They are typically busy and sometimes take a little while to free up for assistance, especially when busy.”
“My partner and I rented the Rosehill Gardens event space for our spring wedding. Rosehill Gardens is an incredible, intimate venue that we feel so lucky to have found. The event coordinator was extremely professional and a huge help. He actually staged two separate ceremony areas for us to choose from, and single-handedly made sure that the area we picked had everything we asked for. We ended up not having to rent any equipment or decor at all, because Rosehill went above and beyond to provide everything we needed. “The home depot took my return fairly quickly, there wasn't a long line. Everyone tried their best to be helpful. I spotted some dying plants and wondered if I could take them, and the staff were very professional in saying no. Apparently both she and I would get in trouble if I would take something like that. Two of their tools aisles are under construction (?) or it seemed like it was blocked off for some reason. I remember once I came in here looking for an extra large box, and they actually let me take it as well. Overall would recommend this Home Depot location.”
“There was a mixup with my online order so when I returned my items and received an exchange, the assistant manager, Jerome Pyburn, which is what’s on my paperwork was very friendly and accommodating. He Corrected the mixup which ended up being my fault.
