Awesome place to visit. Good history on money, making, destruction, and banking system. Where else do you get free money upon departure. Advisory-you'll be surched upon entry. Free.

This museum was very fun and interesting! Also did I mention it was free! Great 30 min tour! Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Able to see all the famous, rare United state coins that have low Mintage ! Harry Truman's awesome coin collection! Free is the key word here folks! If you have any interest in economics this would be a great stop. The museum is not huge but creatively interesting.
At the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's Money Museum, visitors can see how the Bank processes millions of dollars in currency each day, lift a real gold bar, view the historic Harry S. Truman coin collection and enjoy fun, interactive exhibits while learning about the U.S. economy.
The Money Museum is a free, walk-in and self-guided experience. Tickets are not required.
