We paid $1000.00 to have them fab up a set of stainless steel fuel tank straps for our truck. The individual who preformed the work was apparently unable to read the mechanical drawing I provided. The work was also clearly unverified by the manager to whom I verbally explained the exact dimensions that we needed while looking at said mechanical drawing together in person at their location. The product they supplied to us was made 3 inches longer than what i specified. The materials used were clearly of good quality, the welds and craftsmanship were also good quality. This made it even more frustrating that the one dimension that I expressly pointed out was most important was just simply over looked. I picked these items up on a Friday afternoon. We attempted to install the parts the following Monday after noon at which time we discovered the discrepancy. When I called them to address this issue at 4:30pm, I got no answer. Pretty disappointing. Thankfully I was able to find a local welder who was able to cut, shorten, and tig the straps to the correct length with next day service. This cost an additional $180.00. Pretty cheap education I suppose.

I was in need of a condenser for my 18 wheeler and Midwest had it available at the most competitive price. They were a few hundred dollars cheaper than the dealership and cheaper than other places in KC. I will keep Midwest Radiator in my contacts and let people know about them.

Dropped off gas tank to have it cleaned out and specifically asked to have it hot tanked to get the inside cleaned but after paying found out they only pressure washed it at a tune of $150!!!! I could have power washed the tank myself but they were kind enough to offer me $150 if I wanted to pay them $600-800 to acid wash the tank and reseal it! Man where has this industry gone - everyone wanting to take advantage of everyone else unfortunately.
