So I had a month to prepare a wedding get a dress, get my bridesmaids, grooms men, and husband suits and dresses. My now husband and 2 grooms men came into micheals and got measured on the first visit and picked out their suits. The suits were altered in a month, and came back looking great! Sadly they didn't think to try on the white dress shirts there. They didn't fit well at all. They were big and baggy on the grooms mean and the collor didn't fit around my husband's neck. Plus they were see through. Other than that everything else was a great experience for them.

When my son forgot his shirt Michael’s bailed us out an hour before the rehearsal dinner. Being from out of town , we were in tight spot and they were able to get us a properly sized shirt, pressed and ready to go. Big thanks!

Very unprofessional place! We ordered 14 tuxes and only 1 was correct! 1 had dried blood the Jr groomsmen's shoes were the wrong size so had to start pictures with no shoes on! I will never go to this place again I will tell everyone about my experience!! For the price of the tuxes they should've fit! The father of the brides tux was a "slim fit" he's not slim and would've never ordered that! One of the grooms men's pants we so tight they ripped. Very ridiculous and I'm very unsatisfied and absolutely regret using them!!! And when I drop these tuxes off im going to let them know!

We had such high hopes for this place. Ordered in early June, we’re never notified when the suits arrived had to call to find out they had arrived. Told the tailor my suit was too small but he assured me they would adjust it to fit. Wedding is September 9th. We were told all suits would be ready end of August. First week of September no suits. Called and called, kept being told next week, next day, next day. I finally had to just show up 2 days before the wedding and say where the heck are our suits. Finally try on my suit after alterations, two days before the wedding. My suit still too small just as I had told the tailor a month earlier. They had to overnight pants, then go in put it all together and the jacket we discover is too tight. Tailor now says they can’t do anything for me, he says I should have gotten a bigger size. They measured they ordered and they ordered me a size smaller than my measurements we find out. Wedding is literally tomorrow all 6 of the guys have issues with their suits similar to mine but with all of us getting them TWO DAYS BEFORE, we are screwed. They saw the suit on me a month ago said they’d make it work than waited until two days before the wedding to give us our suits just to find we all have issues, too small, too tight too bad. A couple younger sales staff are truly amazing and did what they could to help but truly just an awful experience. I warn all who roll the dice here be prepared for a photo finish and don’t expect them to call you to let you know when things are ready.

had my best friends wedding over the weekend, grooms pants werent correct after initial measurements and after the corrections, some of our shirts had pockets and some didn’t, they forgot to sew buttons for suspender in most of the groomsmens suits so they had to change the look of their wedding party. not good after spending almost 400 on each suit

Great experience at Michael’s! My husband needed a last minute ensemble and Keith, KJ, and Jude hooked us up with an awesome sport coat and pants (both tailored same day) , perfectly fitting dress shirt (hard to find but Michael’s had them). Love the history and highly recommend supporting local KC shop! Thanks guys!

Needed last minute suit for funeral. Keith was compassionate and really moved mountains to get done in time for me. Have a great suit at end of the day, and a new place to go clothes shopping! Has something for everyday to formal.

I needed a suit last minute for a business trip. Called at least 10 places to see if I could have one tailored and fitted in two days. Michael's was the only place that agreed and they did. I had a great fitting tailored suit in hand, with shirts, ties, shoes and belt in two days for $800. There are a lot of places you can get a suit, but only one place with service like Michael's.

I forgot to pack my suit for a wedding I was going to that day and was freaking out a little. These guys waisted no time getting my measurements and got me out the door with exactly what I wanted. Awesome service, options, and time management.

I took my father to buy a tux for an annual event. Bob was extremely helpful and although I did not allow enough time to purchase a properly tailored tux, Bob helped us rent a tux that fit my father perfectly.When you walk in you feel like you have stepped into a men's clothier in London. The display cases take you back to a time when Men's fashion was important and classic. Step further into the store and you see the latest in Men's fashion.This store has a wonderful selection of men's accessories. A nice large hat selection in the back should not be missed. This store made me wish we dressed up more often.The dressing rooms however, are tiny and poorly lit. After performing feats of contortion, you will have to step out to the three way mirror to admire your outfit. Tip, if there are only men in the store, dress in the open.

Can’t say enough good things about Michael’s. Had an emergency need for a suit and being 6’ 7” and 260 lbs it’s not always easy to find something. Keith Novorr is the grandson of the founder and he found something that fit my needs perfectly and got it tailored for me in less than 24 hours. Everything about this shop from the location to the ambiance to the clothing selection to the people working there is just perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better group of people, better service, or better quality. This establishment has been in business for almost 120 years and now I know why. The next time I need fine clothing this is where I’ll be going. Highly recommended!

I used Michael's for my wedding suits back. Their flexibility was beyond expected. We had several out-of-state groomsmen and one who was even out of country that was able to come in and get the suit tailored to spec the day before the wedding!Beyond the flexibility, their team takes the time to understand what you're looking for and help you find the right options for you.Since my wedding, I have continued to shop at Michael's and they'll certainly have me as a customer for life.

Went into Michael’s on a last minute search for a belt. I was welcomed by Keith with a smile and helped me locate everything I needed. He even shared the amazing history of the building and business. Shopping local saved me this day!
