The sea salt dusted mocha chip cookie is amazing. The cappuccino was equally good. My only “complaint” is, why ask me if my order is to go or here. When I answer, “I’m going to savor the cookie and coffee here”, please don’t put the cookie in a paper bag and the coffee in a paper cup. I feel like I’ve been given a doggie bag. I am a guest in your place of business, and I’ve come in to relax, recharge and enjoy some quiet time; instead I felt rushed, drained and overwhelmed by the loud music.

I've often wanted to check out Messenger Coffee in the Crossroads, but was concerned about parking and it being on Grand - Busy street. I was having a, "Let's Seize the Day", moment and decided to give it a shot. Parking was as taxing as I guessed, but I only had to walk half a block to get inside. The first floor is austere and clean, but not very welcoming in my opinion. I'm much more of a soft fabric with muted lighting kind of girl. Still, it has an old charm that I can see a lot of people appreciating. I grabbed a treat and tea then headed upstairs to find seating. The stairs are daunting, but they have an elevator to make things easier. The second floor was packed, but the rooftop with its view of the city and firepit was empty - Score! There was a bit of wind, but nothing that the huge firepit couldn't handle. I happily spent my Seize the Day morning sipping hot tea, eating a tasty treat, and enjoying the view on the Messenger Coffee on Grand's rooftop.

Visiting from PA and saw this place on tik toc. It didn’t disappoint. The breakfast sandwich and caramel latte are amazing. The atmosphere with 3 levels of seating is amazing. The roof top is awesome and it has a fire pit. The best coffee shop love love loved it ?

For anyone out of town, don't second guess it. Messenger always delivers. The coffee is top-notch, the vibes are relaxed and the food is scrumptious.Parking: Mid-week street parking is paid but weekend it is free. However, with no dedicated parking lot you might need to search for a spot.

So, so, so, so, so good. Coffee and pastries were excellent. Love the space, although if you're a big group, you may have difficulty finding a place to sit, because it's so busy.

Messenger Coffee is a hopping place and I can see why. It has several floors worth of seating plus a rooftop area, making it ideal for studying, working, or hanging out with friends. Given how large it is, I was able to study here for about 4 hours and didn't feel like I was taking a seat away from anyone who needs it. Service here is friendly and quick. Plus, there's plenty of people around in case you want to ask questions or need help. Drinks and food were ok to me, but my friends all loved theirs so maybe I ordered the wrong thing. My banana bread was a bit gritty. However, my friend got a croissant here and couldn't stop raving about how flaky and perfect it was.

This place is popular! It's kind of tricky to find seating. I watched a lot of people very carefully take their full coffees up to the top floor just to find it was closed and they had to make the same sloshy trip back down two flights of stairs to stand around and look for seating. It would be great to put a sign up that the top floor is closed at the bottom of the stairs instead of the top. I thankfully had already finished my coffee before I tried the rooftop patio. I liked my coffee, but what I got didn't match the description for what I ordered. I mostly liked my breakfast sandwich, but I did not like the sauce on it. I didn't know it was going to have what I think was pesto on it. I took a chai muffin to go and it was delicious. The directions for what to do to obtain your order wasn't clear. I found a friendly barista to help. Not all the staff was friendly, but they were busy so maybe they were stressed.

Much more than a coffee shop, a great place to gather! Great spot for coffee but this is also a BAKERY where they break delicious bread and various pastries. Inside an old building they use all three floors to provide you (or a group) plenty of space to partake and enjoy one's company. Service of the coffee is a little slow, your food will be ready first, so just don't come in a hurry!

It is a lovely place to spend time and grab some delicious breakfast items and fantastic coffee. I love the three story building, and it is so nice to be able to take your food and beverage to a window seat upstairs and just start your day off on the best foot, overlooking your amazing city. My bestie and I had your wonderfully delicious ham and cheese croissant (my favorite) with an amazing and beautiful latte. What a treat, and what a great place to catch up with friends!! Thank you for your great food and service. Your staff were the best, and your lovely thermos is my daily treat souvenir! I can't wait to stop back in the next time I am in town. Highly recommend!!
