Piece of advice, if you rent a truck or any other items from them do a walk through before you take the vehicle. You will get blamed for damages you didn’t do. Don’t hope that the general manager will work with you about anything. He’s so rude as is the customer derive lady, I believe her name is Mary. The general manager will talk down to you like you are an idiot. I feel bad for the people who work under him. Also, we submitted several hundred dollars in rebates from Menards and haven’t received one. When you mention it to them they blame it on the post office and the mail carriers of stealing them out of the mail. Because of your shady business practices you have lost a loyal customer. Our dishwasher just went out and normally we would have purchased from you but not this time. Lowe’s now has our business.

Menards is one of my favorite stores! They have anything you need for your home. From hardware, furniture up to appliances. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. You ask for something, they don’t just tell you where to go, they guide you and make sure you found it.For pickup orders, the experience was great. It could have been better if there was no need to get out of your vehicle. You needed to get down to check in.Overall experience was excellent.

Always good for home improvement. The way they could improve is when you use the online app to find something in the store make sure that the location is clear on the app and then easily identified where to go in the store. I spent a lot of time in the store spending money and asking location questions especially on the back walls. Even if you think what's on the app and in the store is easy d*** it down one more level. Just a thought

We bought windows from here. When we took the packaging off, we noticed a crack in the glass. We take it back to exchange it, which was super easy. However, they started packaging the returned window, to put it back on the shelf. I wanted to write a review, to warn people to check windows before walking out of the store.

I paid my bill $298.00 bill using cash. $100 bill and the rest in 20s. The cashier checked each bill the 100 and the twenties to see if they were counterfeit. I have never had someone verify $20 bills. I am a person of color and cannot say I saw anyone else get a bill verified. The cashier said it is standard policy to check all bills or she’d lose her job. She couldn’t afford to lose her job. Is this truly the Menards policy?

I love coming here, there is one cashier that has to be one of the rudest people ever. The last 2 times I have checked out I have gotten Theresa including today. I chalked the first 2 times up as she is just having a bad day, I worked for several years for one of your competitors and can completely understand having off days. Today has I approached her line with a full cart she proceeded to get a snarl on her face and roll her eyes and never once did she greet me. She had trouble ringing up a whiskey barrel I was buying that was on clearance so that only added to her not so pleasant attitude. Once I met her with the same energy her tune changed but it shouldn't have to be that way. I was really on the fence whether or not to leave a review but after today I felt I needed too. I will absolutely avoid her at all cost next hope shes not the only option without a line.

This place is ok, but SO much stuff isn't marked. And a lot of what is marked doesn't ring up correctly at the register. I *always* have to make a mental note of the tagged price and then be ready to notify the cashier that it's not ringing up as marked.

Jacob in the buildings material area at Menards helped us SO much during a project. We literally came in here 6+ times needing help with items & returns due to our contractor estimating incorrectly. Jacob was always incredibly friendly, kind, welcoming and supportive. His help and positive attitude really helped balance out what had turned into an unexpectedly challenging project to get completed. We’re very thankful for his help and will come back for his guidance on projects in the future before we get started.

Every time I hear the commercial on television about how great Menards is, and you can save 11% on everything in the store with the rebates, I just want to vomit . We have been trying to get over $200 worth of 11% rebates from the store in Kansas City Missouri for over three years have been to every manager clear up the line.. they told me that they do not handle the rebates personally that it's a third-party consumer business that handles the rebates. Well, they must handle them and throw I'm right in the garbage because I've never talk to anybody that has ever received the rebates and I'm still waiting on over $200 worth, I do not know how they can get by with such fraud, and I was told by a person finishing two of my bathroom is in my house not to go there and buy any thing for remodelling because most of it is only cheaper end and lower quality than anything else

In Omaha I loved Menards however the North Kansas city store is solely responsible for us finally closing our account. Over the last two years this store has shorted us on EVERY order they were responsible for delivering. In EVERY case we would be missing materials and their delivery department would refuse to deliver the rest of the material so an employee would end up coming off the clock AFTER formal complaints to BBB were filed or we would have to pick it up to avoid the fight. We aren't talking about small stuff either we are talking $500 to over $1000 worth of product of high value orders they charged us $100 or more to deliver and didn’t deliver in full. When its every time its pretty obvious theres serious mismanagement or employee theft (maybe thinking we wouldn't notice?) going on since the material was there when we called. We originally thought it was an employee issue but started to realize something else is going on when the last order a supervisor gave a kid a death store when he said he remembered our order and stuff WAS missing when the supervisor was trying to deny it. They shorted us a second time a $50 box of landscape material and told us it was being sent to store via fedex snd we could pickup the next day. They then never ordered it so a week later tried to deny they didn't deliver it. At this point the owner & management of this location is fully aware of whats going on and are supportive of shorting customers or complacent. I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere or if you take your chances being very careful to check any order you pay this store to deliver.

My family and I have made a number of purchases from Menards in the past. I made a large purchase and thought how nice that I will get an 11% rebate check. Never came after months of waiting. This is a big rip off. I know some people may say it must be completed properly, receipts attached and all documentation must be flawless. Well, it was. NO REBATE!Here's a question, "Have anyone actually received their rebate on time". I'm very disappointed with this business and I will never make another major purchase from them if any other big box is in business. What a poor company and I'm sure they will blame everything on a third party vendor, yeah right.

Love Menards and we have been in quite a bit lately due to some remodeling. However, if everytime someone attempts to look at pocket knifes your security guard feels the need to rush out and awkwardly stand there maybe you should put them in a case or not sell them!? Is this happening to everyone? Maybe, we should just shop elsewhere!
