If you have any issues at this trail, then it is totally your fault! This is a beautiful place! Super wide and level path; lots of wildlife, and Longview is a pretty lake to begin with. People are friendly and it is a scenic and gentle trail. It's maybe slightly boring! ? Go for this trail if you want a stress free, beautiful experience!

This trail has it all! We walked along the beautiful lake in open air, found ourselves in the trees passing by marshland and streams and found a good place to roll around in the dirt. I, unfortunately, didn’t realize it wasn’t a loop until about 5 miles in ?. I’m d**** But luckily it was a lovely trail to travel.

Our hiking group came out to hike this trail! It’s mainly paved and gravel so it is a great trail for days when other trails are too muddy to hike on.

A very nice access point for the pier and overlook! I don't normally ride the trail here, but this trailhead does give access to Aryes beach, which I consistently visit.

Beautiful lake, wonderful trails and very peaceful. There are several playgrounds for kids or if you're looking for somewhere quiet you can always find a spot to just relax. I take my dog here regularly for a walk or run, or just to play in the water.

Really nice trail system and tons of family friendly options! Walk or ride along the trail and you’ll find playgrounds, benches, and picnic tables all the way. Paved and crushed gravel the whole way…nicely maintained. RideKC bikes available, for a fee. Will definitely go back when the weather brings spring blooms! Great outdoor spot!

Well maintained wide trail and very scenic. It has many extensions which gives fun options and plenty of distance.Multiple parking lots with plenty of spots, restrooms at each.Bike rental available.

I’ve not ever used the little outdoor gym, but the trail near the lake is nice. Pretty scenery and peaceful.

Head point of the 6.5 mile trail, very nice park and two pokestops and a gym if you play pokemon go. The marina also has a gym and several stops and gyms along the trail.

It's a great place to start a run, walk, ride or just hangout with friends. There's a restroom, exercise course, lakeview trail and the 6+ mile trail.

Cool trail for walking or biking. Maybe 10-12 miles in total. Could use more lake views during the walk.
