“Gomers had a solid selection of Bourbon, not my favorite, but that is hard to find. I was able to find several I had never seen available for purchase there. Despite the fact I did not enjoy the bourbon, I enjoyed the experience and selection at Gomers. Their prices were good, and they had a great selection available, I will go back when I need a place in KC next time.”

“You know how in the Wizard of Oz the worlds changes from black & white to color? That has been my experience since being introduced to natural wine, and it has exclusively come from this lovely place and the people therein. I have never left Big Mood without having learned something new (about wine or otherwise), enjoyed a fun variety of wines, and met some cool people along the way. Richard is a fountain of knowledge, and as a novice wine drinker, I appreciate how approachable he makes the world of all things natural wine.

“Love Mike's. Always a great beer selection, better than average wine selection, cigarettes, decent cigars, and snacks! One of the last hold-outs for the mix your own beer 6-pack for $9.99 which is always a fun way to try new stuff, particularly seasonals. They will order stuff for you if they don't have it, super friendly and knowledgeable staff.”
“Brookside Wine and Spirits was amazing to work with for our wedding reception in April 2024! They were great at communication. I had even accidentally scheduled the wrong date with them and they were flexible with being able to move it to the correct one, even though it was no fault of theirs. They allow you to sell back any unopened liquor and drinks which was fantastic so that nothing went to waste. The two bartenders who served at our wedding were fantastic and so much fun! We could not recommend them more and I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!”

“Such a great little liquor store. Not huge, so they don't have everything under the sun. But, they are regular and real people here and you can have a conversation with them. The staff are always friendly. And, if you want something that they don't have, they will order it for you. This place is my go to liquor store because it's great. Great service, great people, great prices. Overall a and everytime a wonderful experience!”

“I love this place. They have some great prices and treat you like family. They also have the bags of frooties they make up and sell for like a dollar. This is a Ma and Pop type of place and it's what keeps me going back. “So they are great about almost everything but their Escobar are bad the first one i got was leaking into the bag and the second one got 2 short puff out before it was burnt and he had me check both of them but I hit the second one and it was fine but I got outside and it was burnt after I hit it. Just don't buy vapes there. Otherwise they are great”

I don’t live close, but I will make the 40 minute trek any day just to experience the customer service and the amazing selection! Cheers”
