They are very polite and respectful. They show you around the place. They also give you multiple options to choose from as like family or single monthly. And they give military discount because I’m a veteran and they gave me one just make sure you show your VA or military id if not that then your DD-214.

They don't spend much on this YMCA and we can speculate why. It's a sad fact. So yeah, this isn't the Y with the bells and whistles, but what it is is friendly and supportive.The pool is too small to use for lap swimming, but it is good for kids and water exercise.What I love though, is when I go in, I get the happiest greeting. I never feel dumb when I have a question. Honestly, all things being equal (and sadly, they just never are), this would hands down be the place I would always choose, based on staff alone.I mean, I really can't say enough about them. They make you feel good to come visit this Y. I think they are what keeps this place afloat. You know it isn't the funding. I suspect they get the short shrift every time. But you wouldn't know it by the staff. 10/10 the friendliest staff of all KC YMCA's.

For the price they are charging for a child membership there should be definitely more offered for the youth. I feel like they're unreasonably priced without benefit. My child goes to the Greg center for free now and it's been a great decision. Beware of their cancelation policy as they don't care if you attended they just want your money!!!

Great facility and nice people but the swimming lessons were terrible. Fortunately, the Red Cross had excellent classes. My suggestion is for adult swimming lessons there be a better system.

Linwood YMCA is awesome! Gym, basketball court, and pool are just a few amenities that this YMCA offers. The pool is enclosed so you are inside but it’s enclosed with glass so it feels like you are outside. Wonderful establishment.

Today was great. The Y and the salvation army did a hot meal for the homeless for Christmas. It was good food and a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.Thank you to all the volunteers who made it possible.

I took my grand daughter to swimming lessons here. The staff and really everyone I met there was quite friendly nice and very helpful.

Not too impressed with the summer youth program. There's no structure, the daily programs aren't being carried out by the staff & the children in return are not engaged or even interested in attending. Sure hope they restructure moving forward. My childhood experiences where so much more fun!

It's a nice YMCA!! The swimming pool is not the best but it's ok. The shower's and workout area are cool!!!! ? ?

I like this YMCA. People are always nice and welcome you. The pool area is great and great for kids. Only problem I think should change is they should go back to there normal hours. The pool hours are 7am to noon and opened back up at 4pm until close. It does t fit my grandson and my schedule. Very clean place.
