We have stayed here a handful of times and it is THE BEST hotel in downtown KC! It's close to everything and loaded with great amenities like restaurants, bars, fitness center, and pool! This is our go to place to stay when we travel to KC. You'll love it!

First time staying at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown and what a great experience. Hotel was clean, room was great, and staff was super friendly! Started the check in process with a few chuckles and a room upgrade and I must say.... room was fantastic! The lounge, while limited in goodies to enjoy, was beautiful. Looked like a library and was a great place to take some work meetings. Need to workout some stress? The indoor pool and huge gym were an excellent way to do it! Love when hotels have a squat rack in their gyms along with a complete free weight assortment! Food at the restaurant was good but maybe should have tried their inroom dining. Would have been around same price and in the convenience of my room. Person of this trip.... Maria from the breakfast buffet! From the first day I had breakfast, she was excellent. She looked to be the only person working the breakfast buffet on Monday and she was on top of it all! Every day after that, she greeted me with a good morning and a smile, keeping my coffee warm and my plate full! Gracias Maria! Would absolutely come back to this hotel on my next KC visit! Thank you everyone!Safety: Felt super safe!Noteworthy details: Excellent gym with everything you need to work out. Complete free weight sets, squat rack, cardio machines, and an indoor pool too!

Room was amazing. Vibe was great and location excellent. Was in town for an event. Sean at the Valet Service desk was above and beyond helpful and kind. Overall, a great experience.

Andrew, and John were absolutely fabulous, professional and friendly. Front staff and event coordinators Megan and Liz of the hotel were amazing. The banquet staff was beyond phenomenal with last minute dietary changes for our celebration dinner.

Beautiful old hotel, vast lobby space, very nice rooms. BUT…Overpriced, horrible internet (unless you want to pay $15.95 per day), and terrible desk/phone service. Would only stay in Marriot after exhausting all options.

My recent stay at the Kansas City Marriott Convoy downtown was nothing short of excellent. The hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that made my trip truly enjoyable.One standout feature that I appreciated was the separate elevators assigned to different levels. This not only enhanced privacy and security but also minimized wait times, especially during peak hours. It's a small detail, but it made a big difference in the overall convenience of navigating the hotel.

Really nice hotel. Elevators are a bit weird in the main tower, made navigating harder at first, but they are probably the faster elevators I have ever been in. In addition, they don't have free breakfast, only a high priced restaurant. That is what you get at higher end places, but still bumps down my personal opinion of the establishment. Great location, and a good pool at the top floor with a scenic view. Being high up also means the lobby doesn't smell like chlorine, which is a huge plus over other hotels.Noteworthy details: Strange Elevator interface in the main tower. No buttons in the elevator. You have to use the touch screen outside the elevators to choose your floor.
