Just completed renovations - they did a great job. Everything is brand new!! Beautiful lobby, well appointed rooms. Good location - very close to City Market that has lots of dining. Parking lot is right across the street - cost is $17/day. Team was wonderful - very nice and attentive. Shockingly, I was only 1 of 2 people staying in the hotel - no one there! Breakfast was the bag kind reminiscent of Covid (muffin, yogurt, piece of fruit and water bottle)- they do not have their certificate yet to provide hot breakfast but I think it's coming soon. That was the only negative. Overall - fantastic stay - will definitely stay again when in town for work. Everyone book here - start filling this hotel up!

Decent hotel. Had some rewards points to apply to help cover cost of room. Not sure I would pay $200 per night to stay again. Rooms were clean, shower faucet was on the opposite side of the shower than the head. Nothing major, just thought it was odd. $18 to park per day in a lot around the corner, but easy to get in/out of. $75 pet fee I thought was excessive but didn't expect a handout either. Free breakfast was a bonus, but nothing out of the usual. Just your typical hotel breakfast. Staff was decent, not overly friendly. But the ladies that were in charge of breakfast were the best. Went out of their way to say hello and good morning. They are the true Rockstar. Wish I would have caught their names.

HOTEL IS CLOSED!!!!! I made a booking in March of 2022 for August 2022. The hotel has been apparently closed for what seems like over a year from reviews. Went to go book another room for our party and noticed a temporary closure on the front page of the hotel website. I called Hilton and was reassured that a booked reservation guarantees a booking. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was then told the hotel is indeed shut down. (with no notice of the hotel or company to let me know for my upcoming visit). I'm now out of hotel rooms for our party of 11 and the cost of the rooms have almost tripled in the area. Hilton will not do anything to help that will benefit us in anyway. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

The hotel was clean and the room was nice, but the valet crew made me never want to stay here again. One was lecturing another worker and giving a performance review loudly in the lobby. Another argued with me and charged me a $25 valet fee when I was told to self-park and self-retrieve since the hotel was so busy. Then, when I asked about the charge to hotel management, the valet jumped in and started to argue with me again. In the end, management made it right after I had departed, but be warned - The valet fee is mandatory ($25 per vehicle per day at a lot literally 20 yards away), self-parking is not allowed.

This is a very nice hotel. I loved the staff, the breakfast, how clean it was, the good sized rooms, and the location in relation to the power and light district (not too close but not too far). I did not like that it did not have a pool. It was inconvenient that the only parking was a paid valet. The beds were very comfortable, also!

This is my second stay in 6 weeks. 1st stay was very impressed. This time was very disappointed, Room 613, bar of soap left from previous person staying in room. Bed was not comfy. And room was set on 68 at night and woke up to being very warm in room. This will be our last stay here. I mentioned the soap to the desk person, she made no apology of the issue or action to fix. Think it was her first day as she didn't know what she was going, and the valeet attendant had to keep helping her. I paid 175.00 for the room, it should be over the top. Very Disappointed.

It’s just ok.Rooms are large and clean but the location a few blocks north of downtown is a bit sketchy. There are no eateries or coffee shops on the block. The property is adjacent to and across from parking garages. While I was there, one of the elevators was out of service which resulted in some long wait times up and down between the lobby and my room floor.A note about the free breakfast. Simply put, it’s awful. Very little variety and food that spent way too much time under the warming light.

My parents stayed here when they came to town and everyone was so nice and the place was clean and an all around great experience! The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever seen and every employee was incredible. would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay downtown KC! you can easily walk to the river market from here as well as easily access the street car. Great stay here!

Hotel was very nice and clean. Room was great and had no issues overall during my recent stay. The front desk staff was hit or miss; sometimes they were great other times they were sitting on the couches in the lobby just watching TV and didn't seem to be in a hurry to help anyone at the front desk.

Great stay! My only complaint would be that we could hear a lot of what was going on outside (the train, police cars, an argument, etc.) but it was nothing atypical for being downtown. Good breakfast, great customer service. The people at the front desk were really helpful and nice. The location is wonderful if you want to ride the train that goes from the River Market to Union Station because there is a stop in front of the hotel.

I recently stayed at this property visiting KC for the holiday weekend from Florida. This hotel proved to be a very pleasant surprise for me and my friend. The hotel is centrally located and all major attractions are easily accessible from this location. The room was very modern and clean. But the most pleasant surprise was the breakfast staff and the breakfast they prepared. It was very complete and not the simple continental breakfast that we expected. The breakfast staff gave their personal touch daily by singing for the guests and thanking us for staying at the property. Even the property owner was very friendly and approachable.Needless to say, Iwill definitely plan to stay at this property again when I visit KC in 2019.

Location is absolutely great! We were able to walk to the Power & Light District as well as other wonderful sights. The free tram is a block away from the hotel. The staff was really great. Not sure how these employees did so much with just the three of them. Give them a raise for their dedication and excellence! Even though we were Packer fans they treated us great!!!

The venue was great for the party. The room was nice and clean the tables were arranged nicely. The staff was nice and courteous. They offered assistance throughout the night. It was definitely a great experience. I only hate they did not have any rooms available. I would definitely recommend using this location for a party spacious various areas the serve food and have 50 + Guest seated. Great job again to the staff.

The front desk staff is absolutely awful. Our car was valeted in the parking lot down the street. Which is basically an empty lot/dumping ground for heroine needles. After checking out which we were not even told more than three words at the end of our stay. So rude. We get home and discover that someone had peeled off both front and back stickers of our vehicle. We then decided to alert the hotel of what had happened. We were placed on hold for 8 minutes. The front desk person came back on the phone and was unbelievably rude showed no concern and would not refund us the 16.00 that we paid to have them park it in said lot. The room was great the staff however has no customer service skills and shows no concern for guests. Unbelievable.
