I stopped into HD yesterday afternoon (5/17/23) to get some pavers. I asked for assistance but everyone was pretty busy. I got impatient and was moderately rude to one of the managers, Mitch. Eventually- an employee (I wish I would've caught his name- he was SO kind and helpful) came to assist me. Mitch also came out to help- even though he didn't have to and I wasn't the nicest to him initially. Admittedly I was having a rough day and I think Mitch could sense that my anger wasn't directed towards him. Regardless- he went above and beyond to load all my pavers, make sure I was doing ok and knew that everyone has bad days and that tomorrow would be better. I wanted to write this review for the people who helped me yesterday. They deserve recognition. They deserve the good review. I hope they see this and know that I am grateful for how kind and gracious they were with me yesterday when I wasn't at my best.

horrible I called in advanced for a trencher they told me they would hold for a hour I showed up In 45 min then tryed to up sell me to a more expensive rental and I told the man no they put my name on the small one as that all I kneeded and he informed me it would not even be back until 1 o'clock and this was 845 am and told me I'd have to wait. Home Depot you lost my business forever maybe you don't care but this is pour I understand mistakes happen but he should have offered same price to me for the one size up now I'll never be back screw you all. Lowe's is next door and there people are nicer anyhow. Bull dog in Kearny mo made it right for me even though you guys would not they were great to deal with

Had a dent on an appliance that was delivered to my house, no biggie I refused and called Liberty home depot to talk to coustomer service to see what the next step was and had to call 4 times. First two times I was transferred and after it was done ringing the call was dropped. Third time they said hello I said hello and they hung up. Fourth time I spoke to a manager after being on hold for 15 minutes and as I relayed my poor coustomer service experience to them they said that they weren't paying attention to me as they had another coustomer in front of them in a very rude tone. Then I hung up up. Got a call back Said they were really busy and such angered at the dismissive tone I barely heard the next few words then proceeded to get told to call the 1800 number on the receipt I got and take it up with them. What happened to coustomer service and peronal responsibility?

I thought the process of buying a washing machine would be easy, i was SO WRONG! I received my 1st washing machine on June 27th, 3 hours after using it, it broke. I called LG and with their help we called the store where we bought it. The management argued with me about who I was supposed to call to get this taken care of. Im the customer, you are the manager, if you cant help me why are you a manager?They finally decided to help me but would be a week later for the so called delivery service to puck up this broken machine. I received a call for the pick up of my broken washer to be July 6th! between 3pm and 6 pm. They were a noshow! So i called the store and spoke with a different manager, he couldn't help me either. About 8pm i received a call from the delivery company that said they were way behind and it would be another 1 1/2 hours! So 9.30pm ?? I said ok. Again a no show! Big surprise. At 11pm they called twice in a row. I did not answer because it was 11pm and w h at delivery service is out at 11pm. Now i feel like Home depot is harassing and playing games and holding my $1000 refund hostage, especially since they would not issue a refund until my machine was picked up. What am i supposed to do?? Apparently this is a common practice? This delivery company represents Home Depot and they are doing a poor service. I was at my danger level of being fed up and finally had to file a dispute charge to my credit card company on July 7th. I dont know if thats what got the fire going but didn't receive a call from another manager until the Sunday the 10th. I waited until Monday the 11th to return the call and got yet another member of management , that did not have a clue what was going on btw, and was actually apologetic and finally used my idea to get one of the rental box truck and come pick it up.They struggled but took it away finallyon July 13th!. 3 weeks this went on! Never in my life have i received such poor customer service, poor management communications, and lack of trying to help solve a simple problem that could have been resolved in a matter of hours instead of weeks. I will never ever go back to any Home Depots for the rest of my life. My husband was using Home Depots alot as he is director of maintenance for 2 sisters properties and would spend $1000s of dollar getting refrigerators, microwaves and lighting not to mention other odds and ends, he too will not be using a home depot ever again. I believe Home Depot needs to tighten up on customer service and service in general or you too will crumble to other big box stores. Its so simple to be a problem solver, sadly this management team is lacking in that area and probably others. Good bye forever. Thanks for not helping ?

Was informed by a rude cashier that in order to get my veterans discount I now to have to download an app and sign up, then use the app while at the store. When I asked about being able to show my veteran designation on my ID is when she became rude by saying "I don't make the rules, I'm just doing my job." With these types of inconveniences and attitudes towards veterans I have spent my last dollar at Home Depot.

This Home Depot is pretty much like any other Home Depot I've been to. I needed three items. I went online to see if they were in stock and the location in the store. I went to the store to get the items. Found two of them and loaded them in my cart. I went to get the last item and none were on the shelf. The website said there were 26 in stock. I just passed 3 employees on the way to find this item so I backtracked to ask one where the missing item was. They had vanished. There was no one around now so I checked myself out with the 2 items. So, if you want no customer service and like to do everything yourself, you will love this Home Depot.. I'm now on the way to Westlake Ace Hardware.

We came to purchase a new shower. We had excellent customer service with Evan Fuller. He was patient and efficient. He took the time to assist us. Thank you for helping us with a difficult circumstance. I came in frustrated, but left very happy. Kudos to Evan!

Andy in lawn and garden is fantastic!! He was super helpful and helped keep our sanity while waiting about an hour for a pallet of mulch. Home Depot Liberty- please train him on the form lift. He is fantastic, eager and super helpful! Thank you Andy!

Worst home depot I have ever been in, in my life! We went in looking for appliances, and were told by the sales person named Kathy that we could get a suite of appliances for approximately $2600.00 minus the extra cables, installation charges and extended warranties. She told us the deal was good until the 20th of January, so on the evening of the 19th, we called to make sure the deal was still valid the next day and was told by the manager Philip, that in fact it was good through the end of the day on the 20th. So we arrived on the 20th and went back to appliances to talk to Kathy at which point she set us down at a desk and kept us there for over an hour looking everything up and writing everything up. About approximately 75 minutes into the process she looked up and said "oh no the dishwasher is no longer available", then she said "oh no" again and said "the pricing ended the day before". She said she was going to talk to her manager and would have a comparable suite at a comparable price available to us after talking to him. However when we called back to talk to the manager, he acted like he never heard a word about this situation, nor did the young woman working back in appliances, since Kathy had gone home. So we were told by Philip that we could meet with Kathy when she returned in a week. So we set up an appointment to meet with Kathy and Philip today. 15 minutes before our appointment time Philip called to say Kathy didn't show up for work today but that we could come in and talk to him or Alec. When we arrived, 15 minutes later, we were told Philip was gone for the day but Alec was there.. They paged him and he came strutting up to us,, asking us what the problem was? We explained the situation to him and showed him the quote Kathy had given us, and he said "no that's wrong you misunderstood it." We misunderstood nothing! There was one price written next to the word promo for suite. Didn't matter that we had just bought a brand new washer and dryer there or multiple other purchases in the past, or that we had the quote in writing. Alec said they would not stand by it! Alec just turned his nose up at us and told us we could leave. At this point we were more than happy to do so, as we had already talked to one of Home Depot's competitors, and found that we could get everything plus additional features, the 5 year extended warranty, the extra hoses and the installation for only a couple hundred more than they had quoted us over at HD (HOME DEGENERATES) and were unwilling to stand by. Let me close by saying I will never do business with The Home degenerates in Liberty Missouri EVER again. Possibly never Home Depot as a whole! Do yourself a favor... Go to Best Buy. Their reps are better educated, and willing to go the extra mile!

Great assistance from Jeff Klepper sales associate in the plumbing department. He helped me find tubing we needed for exhaust from furnace/boiler. Terrific attitude and he gave me advice. Great store manager too. Thank you for all the help. I highly recommend them.

We spend a lot of time and money at Home Depot, typically the Linwood location. We decided since working on our house instead of a jobsite and being super close to our home we would go here never again... 1) I was sent by customer service to tool rental to ask if they still had railroad ties. There is a really nice saw in the back. Unfortunately any time a staff member uses it to cut lumber they put all of their body weight into it and the cut is terribly splintered.
