It’s probably been a good 15 years at least since I’ve been to the crown center - a lot has changed. My friend and I were just meandering around the various shops and came across this one. It was the shiny and clean look from the outside of the shop that called us in to take a look. I didn’t expect to find a store full of various cooking supplies. Even though I’ll admit that I was quite out of my element, the staff were very sweet and caring - and most definitely helpful. I left with a few items I hadn’t originally planned on purchasing, but the cashier made my gay nerd heart feel at home before, during, and after my shopping. 10/10 would come again - and I definitely will need to after making it home and realizing that (after user error) I accidentally broke the pitt bull mug I bought for my sister while carrying it to my car. ?All-in-all, my hoodie was complimented, I got to talk KH with a fellow fan, was given a goofy joke over the soap I purchased, and my ego was boosted. Thanks for not just making my first experience great, but also the rest of my day. ?

Best kitchen store ever! The employees are some of the nicest people ever, absolutely genuine and helpful. We recently moved to Kansas City and always stop in while at Crown Center. Sure, we could get some similar items at another store, but we feel great supporting such a wonderful, local business. They’ve been around for awhile for a reason.

Dear Function Junction Employees,My family came in the other day to look around, my son who happened to have a camera along with him, was taking close up pictures in different angles for his school assignment, was rather rudely asked to stop by one of your employees, no pictures where taken of one he wasn't being rude to anyone, he was simply taking them out of love for art. Her exact words where "I don't think the owner would approve of you taking pictures of their belongings." Very snappy tone.I fail to understand how is it ok for other's take pictures with their camera phone, as videos and post them, but you're going to correct my son, because he has a actual camera.

I am so glad I decided to brave the rain and go to this locally owned kitchen store! Not only did I find everything on my list, but there was a sale going on as well which allowed me the ability to make my own custom dinnerware set I needed! Right place, right time. The store is full of things and great for gifts and yourself! Even was able to find an apron that I liked! I will be returning here again for sure, especially after such wonderful customer service from the two workers today, Denise and Muriel! What wonderful team members you all employee! They deserve a raise! Thanks for being a locally owned business, we love to see it!

I bought some chocolate chip cookie dough flavored popcorn seasoning but I haven't tried it yet. Was looking for some other items you might at expect in a kitchen supply store but overall had a pleasant experience. Will update review upon trying the seasoning

In all the years I've been shopping at Criwn Center I cannot believe I've failed to walk through the doors of this wonderful place. They have so many unique ? items. The store is clean and bright. The cashier was very pleasant and knowledgeable.I found great gift items for four of my colleagues. There were so many things that I noticed that would be great presents for me, family, or work colleagues. The items are reasonably priced as well. I will definitely be visiting Function Junction many more times in the near future!
