Terrible customer service. Never get called back when they tell you they will. I would call and it’s the same answer every time...”they are in a meeting and will call you when they get out” and it never happens. I put way to much trust into this place only to lose out on my husbands childhood home.

I first became a customer of First United Mortgage in 2007. Since then, I have used First United Mortgage for a re-fi and two other home purchases. During my most recent home purchase last week in Lee's Summit, Carl Gennusa was super to work with!! He not only gets the best rates for me every time I've worked with him, but he also goes above and beyond to ensure everything is in order to complete the home purchase, from making follow up phone calls during weekends and holiday, to keeping real estate agents informed. Although I don't think I will be in the market for another home here in the Midwest (as I'll be retiring to Florida in about 8 years), I would recommend Carl and First United Mortgage to anyone looking for a mortgage!

I highly recommend going through First United Mortgage LLC through Carl. He is very helpful and explains everything that we asked. We were first time home buyers and had some crazy questions I'm sure but him and his team answered our questions no problem. I will be returning to him if we buy a house again. He knows his stuff and will show you which is a better loan to go through that will benefit you the most. Thanks for all the help.
