I can't speak for the whole hotel but the lady who answered the phone was uneducated ill-informed and very rude and condescending and to top it off she likes to hang up on a person instead of referring their email to management for follow-

I stayed here on Sept 23 and 24th for Chiefs game and had roaches in my room. Told front desk and was told I would get my Reward points back as I am a Bonvoy member. I have photos still of my room. The first manager, Zach, was great about responding but didn’t get my 41000 points back on my account. The new manager has COMPLETELY IGNORED my messages and I have called 4 times in the past few weeks!! I am thoroughly disgusted at this point that I have had to keep calling 3-1/2 months later. The front desk staff, Davion and Marissa, have been lovely but can’t refund points, only a manager. I would NOT recommend staying here if this is how a MEMBER is treated. My next step is contacting corporate offices.

Everything that wasn't locked down got stolen out of the back of the truck in their parking lot. Don't believe it when they tell you it's a secure lot.

Terrible service, I stayed with my family for 4 nights and they never cleaned the room, they were going to knock early, and if you were not out of the room they would not come back to clean and so on for my entire stay. I don't recommend it at all!

Excellent value hotel in the heart of Kansas City. Walking distance from numerous attractions. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, the breakfast was good, and the pool and exercise room were also nice. There isn't anything negative I can think of about our stay!

Although scattered downtown renovation construction surrounded our stay, it was unfelt during our relaxing overnight stay. Outstanding staff satisfied our minimal needs.

Great room. Very clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good with several choices.The lime water in the lobby was a great addition to our stay. It was very refreshing on a very hot day.

Okay so to be honest, 1st night the headboard banging all night next door was a bit annoying...walls are thin, people yelling down the halls to each other, doors slamming all hours.. Property wasn't well maintained. See pictures attached. The woman at night Vicky? Veronica? Something like that was beyond bad for a customer service job, just really bad attitude. .The ladies and gentleman during the day were MUCH nicer.I just felt the "franchised" vibe, like a cheap Laquinta type, not a typical Marriott. And what's with ONE coffee in a room. A couple has to toss a coin for it in the am?? Two Fairfield's this trip did that???Exterior is ok, but lots of patches on ceilings, around tubs, etcHate leaving negative reviews but just wasn't a great experience...

I was super impressed because the staff is what makes this place so great, Savion front desk at night time is the kindest, best person to work here, he is so attentive, funny and charismatic. We had such a long and not a great day and walking into this place felt super nice because he was so kind to us, Savion came and brought us blankets too, and accommodated us with our rooms, he needs a promotion and a raise asap!

Excellent hotel stay in the Union Hill neighborhood of KC, MO. The staff was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful every step of the stay. Solid breakfast every morning and stellar coffee. Easy access to public transport and walking distance to a lot of significant landmarks.

I was impressed! Looked older from the outside but this is a very nice hotel! Rooms were very clean, very comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the pool was a nice treat. Very close to all going on downtown as well! Will definitely stay again and definitely reccomend! ??

Some hotels will leave a mint on your pillow. This place leaves you a little roach. Found another little critter in the bathroom, later in the evening (I've literally never had insect issues in any hotel I've stayed at).Very old/outdated vibe from the rooms here - dingy/musty smell from the ac unit, and SUPER thin walls. Front desk service was friendly enough, so gave an extra star for that. I would definitely stay away from the breakfast (at least, the "cooked" food).Google maps shows this as a 2-star hotel. I can see why...

We tried to stay at this place for two nights last week and were moved to three different rooms before the ac worked .Our first room that we had actually reserved was a much nicer one than we ended up in . When we went to talk to the manager next morning he argued that we never had the room we had actually reserved!! We tried to tell him, but he argued with us to the point of being very condescending as if we were trying to do a con job! Whatever happened to customer service anyway???? The free breakfast was terrible as well with very little to offer. Needless to say, we canceled our second night there. We will not return!!!

Excellent hotel and helpful staff. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and staff was very Grundig and helpful. The coffee was probably the best hotel coffee I've ever had. My only complaint would be that the tub was slick with no nonslip pad. I actually slipped and fell out of the shower and hit the toilet, breaking the seat. The staff was very quick to get the seat replaced, though. So, watch for the slick tub, otherwise a great stay!

Can be very noisy due to late arrival from other customers especially if you are on the first or second floor. Ceiling is made paper because the noise are very loud. People are running up the floor with their children late at night around 11pm. The smell of weed lingers around the hall way. Customer service is great. Very chill and fun employees but someone needs to ensure that noises and weed are not causing problems to the customers.Breakfast was very delicious with biscuits and gravy. Belgian waffles were tasty. Different food daily for breakfast. The water in front is available for rehydration from the hot and humid weather.
