Such a cool gift store with the randomest items you can find. There are flowers, handbags, stickers, pet food, essential oil, puzzles, etc. We left with a bunch of yard decor. ?

Plant prices were exorbitant, there was a wide variety to shop from and all looked healthy.

The flowers are indeed beautiful, but the real personality of this place comes from the wonderful statuary, yard art, fairie garden pieces, succulents and so much more. You can spend an hour in there seeing new things. We visit every time we shop the River Market.

Prices are bit over the top and the store is in a bit of a bedraggled state. But it's got a lot to see and wander through. I wonder how well the store is actually doing though because the employees all seemed really worn down and sad. But it's an Instagramable heaven!

This place hands down is one of the most epic stores I've ever been in. Could legitimately live here

The owner is rude, crazy, and yells at everyone. Other coworkers have had similar experiences with her. Stay away!

A male employee very aggressively shoved a customer into me during their loud argument while I was simply trying to get away from them in case their altercation escalated further. After the customer who was shoved left, the male employee approached me and my friends while we were browsing in the shop so we tried to confirm he was actually an employee since he was wearing a shirt that said "I work here" on the back. Wanting to confirm that he worked there seemed to anger him and he wouldn't answer us and started cussing and yelling at us, telling us we needed to leave and that he would call security on us for trespassing if we didn't leave. At that point, I saw an older blonde woman wearing the same shirt and asked her if she worked there. She told us she did work there, but when we asked her to confirm that the male employee actually worked there, she only said, "You need to leave now." It's worth noting that she had also been present when the male employee had aggressively shoved the other customer, and she did not seem to do anything other than tell a passing customer who tried to intervene and stop the fight that they couldn't bring their dog into the shop. As my friends and I were leaving the shop as we were told to do, the male employee continued to yell and cuss at us and tried to bait us into fighting him. We spoke with neighboring shop owners who confirmed that this male employee at Dutch Flowers has had numerous issues like this and is known to cause these kinds of problems with customers.

Witnessed an employee push a customer. Customer fell onto my friend. Asked the worker to apologize to my friend. He said he didn’t do anything started to try to fight my husband and friend. The supervisor asked us to leave for asking them to control their employee. Definitely would not recommend this place ever.

I have now lived in River Market for 2 years and frequent this place. Just a few notes 1. You can find some good plants and flowers for sure. 2. The employees do NOT match the vibes of the store AT ALL. One will stare a hole into your soul and very often I have felt like im being followed or just being a bother to them. 3. Their pots are very very overpriced even with the BOGO.

I have never in my life been treated so poorly in an establishment my family and I have supported and enjoyed for years. To make a 3 year old and a 16 year old feel like criminals is completely unacceptable. I was with my 3 year old when she picked up a broken hand fan then we were told we have to pay for it. Would not be a big deal if she had actually broken it and my children were treated properly. A tall blonde woman towered over my children while darting hateful looks at me while my teen was explaining the situation was an absolute nightmare. I will never support this place of business again. It took everything in me to keep this “mama bear” calm. I should have called the police to have them handle the situation and view any footage they may have had but I wanted to get out of there before I was the one in trouble.

I live an hour and a half away,, my family and I love to come to the City Market, especially
our visit to this store because of the unique.items, flowers, plants, etc. I always came home with many items.
We were shopping today and noticed someone was following us around the store. I didn't care because we were not doing anything wrong. My 3 year old granddaughter does touch things and we watch her carefully so she does not damage anything (she does like to smell flowers also).
My young granddaughter was with her 16 year old sister and they were confronted by this person saying my granddaughter had damaged a $5 paper fan and we had to pay for it. The older granddaughter said they had found it that way. Beng upset for the way they were treated and not to cause to a scene we put all of our items back and my daughter paid for the $5 paper fan and left the fan on the counter then left the store.
She should never confronted the children and should have talked to the parents or as I the Grandmother. Needless to say we will never go back to this store. I have spent a lot of money over the years, but no more. I will miss shopping here.

We were browsing, and my three year old daughter picked up a $5 fan. Which was already broken, and her sixteen year old sister was directly next to her, so she said to “put it back, it’s broken”. Then an employee confronts my sixteen year old daughter by getting into her face and hovering over her, telling her “you have to pay for that. She broke it!”
100% know for a fact my daughter didn’t break it. We put back all of our stuff we were going to buy, and purchased this broken “paper fan”, which was left on the cashiers desk.
Your employee is rude as heck to speak that way to our oldest child, rude to our youngest daughter…she is three years old and you spoke to her like she’s an adult.
My family and I have purchased many things from this business but will not step foot in this establishment again.
Enjoy your $5 for that fan that was broken before my child touched it. Hope you learn to treat people with more respect in the future and never talk to a kid in the demeanor that you did today.

This place is wonderful if the tall blonde old woman wouldn’t have HOUNDED And LOOKED through my stroller. My toddler was having a fit and as I was trying to navigate through the narrow cluttered store. This was very unprofessional to profile my family like this.
