I usually have no problem with this Dollar General and find the workers helpful and nice, being customer friendly, except last night I was in the store and was looking for bottled tea.....I passed a girl in the cooler section and did not notice her as a worker, I really just thought she was another customer Thinking aloud I questioned, "where is the tea, I can't find the tea?" several times and then my son came up and said here's the tea in this section..after maneuvering past the girl and getting the tea, I noticed she was an employee and she turned and left the area to go to the front I was like wow she knew I was looking for the tea and never said anything . When I checked out, I confronted her with this and she said "when you were looking for the tea"? I said "yes and you didn't point it out.". She said "You didn't ask me"... WOW and seemed to feel triumphant in her answer. First, I didn't' know she worked there, but she knew she worked there and second, I have been shopping plenty of times here when a worker will volunteer "Find everything you're looking for?" It's called good customer skills....simple. She could have responded oh, I am sorry, I didn't know you needed help or something to that effect but she kept arguing with me saying but you didn't ask me ...there's a reason why the other reviews are giving kudos and praise for this store's service; try to keep it that way. You might need these skills in your future career. People don't just spend their dollars anywhere!!

This is my neighborhood GD.I find the employees very nice and friendly. There is some stuff in the aisles waiting to be stocked but they are doing best they can with probably being short staffed. They have always been helpful and I appreciate them.

So, My Husband and I have been coming to this location since the day u opened. I have NEVER have seen such a turnover at one location in Raytown in the 27 years that I have lived here. The ONLY person that is still with that location is the lady with the 70's haircut that feathers back!!It must be that bad to work for you people or they wouldn't quit so often

This is a great store! Very clean, friendly and helpful staff and well stocked. You can't ask for more at the Dollar General. Longview and Raytown are fortunate to have this place!

I like this one far better than one on Blue Ridge. The difference in distance is not that bad. Great bunch of people there as well.

Buyers beware & double check your receipts I recently shopped in this store & was almost over charged $15 for an item. The item didn’t have a price on it nor the shelf. To make a long story short I inquired about the price I was being charged & was told (admitted) by the manager/cashier that the price was guessed & that guessing is their proper protocol when they can’t find the price!! Needless to say I spoke my mind about it & was told to shut up & leave the store. Please double check your receipts. I found out later that the item was actually $10. They also supposedly don’t have a reprint key to reprint your receipts so be sure to ask for your receipts and check them over carefully.

Terrible experience with the manager Nathaniel. Very unfortunate this company has hired someone who is blatantly rude to customers. I would give zero stars if I could.

employee parked his Mustang in two spots right in front of the store every time he works.staff is very friendly and helThe store is kept in good order. Lots of different items to find.

This location had items in stock that are usually missing in my nearby local Dollar General. They had two cashier's that move the line quickly. Now that was why I was impressed!
