Had a really great experience today thanks to the ladies at the front. I needed to take a passport picture of my 1-year-old daughter who is terrified of everyone but her parents. The two women working the registers went above and beyond to make my kids comfortable while we tried to take a decent photo. I can't thank them enough for the amount of effort they went to for my kids and me. Really appreciate it! Beyond that, I've been coming here for years. Despite being a massive chain it really does feel like a part of a community. Thanks!

Don’t trust store hours. Sometimes it’s just not open - doors are locked and no one picks up the phone - even during the open hours posted at the door.

The pharmacy at this location is the absolute WORST and I would avoid at ALL costs. While the pharmacists may be fine, the check out girl that has been there every time I've gone in over three weeks is rude, unapologetically so, and acts like she can not be bothered. I have gone online to transfer a prescription to this location only to have it not "appear" in their system, even though it shows up on my end. I went in and spoke with said check out girl and then a pharmacist who said they would have it ready in 24 hours, now 9 days later, I am told by said check out girl that "there's nothing". She said it repeatedly to me questioning and trying to explain what has been going on, and now three weeks later, I am back at Walgreens. The fact that the pharmacists and other staff tolerate this woman's behavior is unacceptable. I never raised my voice or was in any way rude to her. CVS in Brookside needs to get its act together.

This is the best CVS in town in my opinion. The front cashier and pharmacy staff are all so helpful, courteous and professional. There are two other CVS pharmacies near me but I always enjoy my visits at the CVS in Brookside.

As someone who calls prescriptions in on behalf of the doctor, this pharmacy repeatedly hangs up on the doctor line before even saying hello. But if you leave a voice-mail, they tell the patient you never called an RX in. Check your voice-mail or pick up the phone! No patient should be out of meds for 3 days due to lack of the doctor being able to communicate with the pharmacy staff!

I had to transfer a prescription from another cvs because they were closed (even though the hours stated online they were open) and called this cvs and spoke to Shar about the urgency in which I needed this medication for my partner and they were such a wonderful help. They took such good care of us and this will now be both me and my partner’s regular pharmacy. Thank you Shar! 12/10 on customer service and empathy. Thank you for saving the day!

We had a prescription transferred here from another CVS for my daughter and they were so.rude. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue, the woman just kept repeating that they didn't have it, which I understood. When I went to try to call the doctor to get it resolved she somehow figured out that they could make it there. I understand everyone has rough days, but it makes the whole process a lot harder when I'm just trying to get my child to feel better.

Best CVS pharmacy in the city. Consistent staff with friendly, knowledgeable demeanors who go above and beyond. I can trust my prescriptions will actually get filled and my questions answered. Doesn’t have a drive-thru, but let’s be honest. I’d rather park and quickly run in than get stuck in a drive thru for an hour.

The pharmacist here is incredibly kind, patient and knowledgable. Upon arriving, my kids' prescription hadn't yet been received by CVS. He noticed I was upset and in need; He asked for the doc's phone and called them for me. This is what you expect from you local pharmacy. Real people taking care of neighbors.

I visited the CVS at 9430 Blue Ridge in Kansas City, MO. I had a terrible experience. The clerk at the photo department was very helpful but overwhelmed. After waiting 45 minutes for my password picture, despite being the only customer there upon arrival, I approached the manager and asked if she could assist me because the clerk had gotten sidetracked while helping me with my passport. She didn't even bother to look at me while walking by me telling she was busy. Another customer commented about how rude that was. This was shameful because the other workers were so courteous. Very poor management.

I was in this CVS on 11/7, and this was my first time getting my prescription filled at the CVS. They were great and did a great job, Unfortunately this review is not about the pharmacy at this CVS location.I'm reviewing this CVS due to the flat out blatant racism I saw by the security guard and the manager of this location. Honestly this CVS should be protested by black lives matter, and CVS should release an open apology to the black man that was harassed by the security guard.Incident; there were at least 20 people mosing around that CVS waiting for their prescriptions to be filled, and once a black man walks in a Security guard(which was an older white man) came out of nowhere and followed him from the momenthe walked in. I didn't even know they had a security guard until I heard him following the man one aisle over asking if he could help him. He said "No he didn'tneed help" as he clearlywas going to the Childers medicine section. The security guard never once asked anybody else if they needed help, why only this man? He was literally feet behind this man following him and harassing him throughout the whole store, while ignoring everybody else in that store(who all happened to be white, probably for a reason). The man being harassed finally got fed up and put his products down on the cornter, and the manager then began to harass him about why he put the products on the counter, acting ignorant and naive To the 10 minutes of constant harassment from the security guard. It was clear why he wouldn't want to give his business to a store which that he isn't welcome in.After the man left, the security guard and the manager of the store huddled together talking at the front of the store acting like they just stopped or solved some sort of the crime. When in reality they just stopped that man for buying medicine for his child, for what I observed do to the Security guards actions.I've never seen such blatant racism in my whole entire life and these people should be ashamed of themselves. It was disgusting to watch and I wish I recorded it. It was horrible and CVS should fire these people Immediately, They are chasing off customers and making judgment calls on who should be able to shop in this location. That is especially shameful since most of the pharmacies in our area are closing down, and we're getting less choices of pharmacy's to choose from.CVS needs to deal with these people and check out their video footage on their security cameras on November 7th, around 2:40ish-3:10.Absolutely disgusting and horrific behavior by these 2 individuals. There's no room for racism in this world anymore.
