I recently visited the Crossroads Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, not for an overnight stay but for the incredible rooftop views and networking opportunities. As a career accelerator for powerhouses and keynote speaker, I was thoroughly impressed. A family member held a birthday party across the street, and we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The atmosphere was quiet, intimate, and perfect for meaningful connections. The rooftop view? Absolutely spectacular! You can see the apartments, the Kauffman Center, and the city skyline—it’s breathtaking at night, and I highly recommend visiting during the day for even more stunning views.
What I love most about the Crossroads Hotel is that it’s a versatile space. Whether you’re a speaker, on a date, or simply meeting friends, this spot offers an amazing experience. And the best part? The rooftop is free to enjoy! There’s a bar downstairs and upstairs, adding to the relaxed yet upscale vibe. Do note that the rooftop closes at a certain time, but it’s worth taking a stroll around the entire area while you’re there.
The staff was wonderful, providing insights and making the experience even better. You never know who you might meet or what connections you’ll make. If you’re looking for a hidden gem in Kansas City for networking, hosting events, or just enjoying breathtaking views, I highly recommend the Crossroads Hotel. My friend and I stayed at the Crossroads on a girls' trip, and it was one of the highlights of the vacation. The staff (specifically Stephanie, Madison, Jackson, Stevie) was SENSATIONAL! They were amazing ambassadors for their city, and our entire trip was elevated because of them. The fitness room is super nice and modern. Our room was cozy, but I gave it four stars because it needed a bit more, like a microwave or a full-length mirror. But otherwise, the entire facility was spotless. Highly recommend staying here!!
Walkability: Fantastic location, near so many bars and restaurants and the streetcar.

Lazia is a definite restaurant to try - it’s a wonderful experience.

I recently stayed at the Crossroads Hotel in Kansas City with my sister and we had the best stay!! The bunk bed rooms are a unique and fun touch— perfect for traveling with family or friends. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the entire hotel—it truly exceeded my expectations.
One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing breakfast. I highly recommend trying the steak burrito and the avocado toast; both were absolutely delicious and started my day off on the right note.
If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and memorable place to stay in Kansas City, I highly recommend the Crossroads Hotel!

I just wanted to take a moment to share how impressed I was with my recent stay at Crossroads.The hotel room was impeccably clean and beautifully designed, providing a relaxing and aesthetically pleasing environment.
The restaurant was absolutely amazing—every meal was a delight! The combination of exquisite cuisine and a charming atmosphere made dining there a true highlight of my stay.
Additionally, the amenities offered were top-notch, adding to the overall experience.

I recently worked with the wedding block sales coordinator at Crossroads Hotel KC for my daughter’s upcoming wedding, and I cannot express how grateful I am for their exceptional service!
From the very first contact, Jade was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs. She took the time to understand our vision for the wedding weekend and provided us with a tailored proposal that included room blocks, rates, and amenities for our guests. she also help me book a beautiful space & catering for the bridal party to get HAMU the morning of the wedding. In addition,
She worked with us to gain access to the rooftop area for amazing wedding photos and the first look for the bride and groom.
What stood out the most was their commitment to ensuring that everything went smoothly. Jade was always available to answer my questions and provided detailed information about the hotel’s offerings, including shuttle services, dining options, and special arrangements for our guests. They even delivered our welcome packet for our guests to their rooms and welcome beverage for each guest.
The booking process was straightforward, and Jade went above and beyond to accommodate our guests' varying needs. They were proactive in communicating with our guests to ensure they had all the information they needed to make their reservations.
On the day of the wedding, I was relieved to see that everything was perfectly arranged. Our guests were pleased with their accommodations, and the check-in process was smooth. It was evident that Jade had worked closely with the hotel staff to ensure that our wedding block was prioritized.

I have traveled all over the US and the world, and this is THE coolest hotel I’ve ever seen. We are only staying for two nights but wish it was longer. So much attention has been paid to every single element of this place, from flooring and hardware to furniture and fixtures to service and hospitality. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Phenomenal location and beautiful hotel! The hotel was buzzing with activity the two nights we were there (Friday/Saturday). The location is great as it’s close to the Street Car and several coffee spots and restaurants! I would say the hotel is definitely geared towards adults.

Cross roads is amazing. The hotel is very well kept and clean. Restraunts and bars are excellent, with excellent service. Room was amazing, cleaned, put together and bed was very comfortable. Not one thing I disliked about cross roads, it exceeded all my expectations of a hotel. Wish all hotels were amazing like crossroads.
