The cameras are a great way to keep an eye on my pup. They were very prompt about calling me back when I left a voicemail with questions. My dog came home smelling great after his bath. Friendly and professional staff. Very happy pup=happy human!

Boarded our dogs in the luxury suite which was such a treat for them. It was also great being able to view them on the camper cams!

We love our friends at Camp Bow Wow KC Northland! They have fostered several dogs for us and we are always excited when they are ready for a new foster! Their employees have always been very welcoming, happy, and professional when working with our volunteers. We are so happy to have kind, dedicated animal lovers taking care of our pups. We have had nothing but positive experiences with Camp Bow Wow!

Great location for doggy day care. We bring our very friendly golden doodle for a chance to burn off energy and see some other dogs. They did an initial meet and greet with a couple of dogs. He did well so got up go play with the big group. They have fun days planned like swimming or water games. He comes home happy and tired!

As a first time dog mom, I was hesitant with bringing my puppy to camp. After our 2nd visit, my dog was sooo excited to be dropped off! The entire staff is amazing and very helpful. I love how I can check on my dog throughout the day via the app. We love Camp Bow Wow!

Took my dog in for the interview, and picked her up early. Watching the camera, I noticed every time my dog played with another dog, they got squirted with water. Neither dog was being aggressive. Other dogs who tried playing got the same treatment. Maybe this explains why every time I watch the camera none of the dogs played with each other. I encouraged the staff member to watch the footage and call me. I appreciate the efforts to keep everything safe, but if the dogs aren't allowed to play with each other this place isn't for her.

Staff is awesome! I am a repeat customer with my doggo Kaci. Kaci love going there and sometimes seems like she is going to bust through the front door to get in.

UPDATE: I have been in contact with the owner of Camp Bow Wow. She very kindly listened and heard opportunities for improvement, some of which she had already taken action on. While I can't take back my experience, I did greatly appreciate the care she showed and interest in improving potential areas of weakness. I wish them all the best.Original Review: We've only used camp bow wow once and it was, unfortunately, negative. Parts of our experience could be critical to some dogs, especially those on important medications, which has driven me to share publicly. Our short review - they seem understaffed for the responsibility (number of dogs) they take on and did not deliver medication for half of the days my dog was there. Evidence also suggests that my dog was left in her room for long periods of time forcing her to pee where she slept and, consequently, having to bath her the moment we returned home from our trip. When calling to share our experience with management and give them an opportunity to react I was met with kindness and an apology with a free bath but no words of confidence that they recognized some critical gaps in their operation nor need for change to their processes. The longer review - we left her with camp wow for 4 days. We were unable to locate her on the cameras for the entirety of day two and the first half of day three. Finally calling them, we got what felt like, a lot of prepared standard answers. Still not seeing her hours later the person on the phone finally went to go physically find her after stating that they may have forgotten her or she may have been overlooked if she was laying against her door. Sure enough, we watched her get escorted to the play area shortly after, having not seen her for a day and a half.Upon picking her up on her final day we immediately found that 2 of her 4 pills were still in the bottle. Luckily this was only for a temporary skin condition and not something more serious. She also reeked of pee. The smell was concentrated on her stomach and her back - she often sleeps on her back suggesting this was from her pin. This theory was proven when we found that her toys were also covered in pee. Toys don't leave the pin they sleep in and she doesn't sleep on toys. If she didn't have to sleep in her own pee then she had to sleep in someone else's, suggesting the place is not kept clean if she wasn’t left in there for a long time. I may never know exactly what happened, but it wasn’t positive. When deciding it was fair to call them and share my concerns before blasting out a one-star review, the manager spoke with kindness but provided many of the same prepared answers that we had gotten before and I got little since of motivation to fix any issues. I thought the medication issue was of particular concern but it went unaddressed. In fairness, I did get the since that they knew of my dog by name and I was never faced with negative attitude. The overall experience does, however, leave me feeling like the kindness and firsthand knowledge of my dog could have been ingenuine and certainly doesn’t alleviate the outside appearance of neglect.

We took our two dogs for six days and paid almost $1,000. When we picked them up, we had 3/4 of their dog food still left, had all of their joint medicine and dog treats left that they were supposed to give them, and one of my dogs had a big sore on his tail. I called immediately after my fiancé picked them up and was told the manager would call me as soon as she got there at 11. No call. I called around 4 thinking maybe she just got busy as soon as she walked in the door to find out she had no idea that I had called. She apologized and stated that she would look in to this because their food cards were marked that they ate all of their food most days and that it was unacceptable. She stated she would call me back the next day and let me know how much of our stay would be refunded. It has now been a week and she has not called back, nor will they return any of my calls. I have called daily and left messages as they will not answer my calls. Also, On the second day there was an issue with one of our dogs jumping the fence so she had to be on an opposite schedule as the other dogs, which I completely understand. Nobody called us to tell us what was going on. After watching the cameras and not seeing my dogs, I called four times and talked to multiple people and got different answers as to what was going on. I actually spoke to the manager and she had no idea that there was an issue with my dog because none of her staff told her. I would not recommend this place at all.

We love Camp Bow Wow! Our dogs have an amazing time playing with other dogs during the day and then a quiet space to sleep at night!
