I am always afraid to start a new groomer just like your own hair stylist you don't know what you'll get right? I meet w Weston the groomer that we were very fortunate to get for my year old Goldendoodle. Ginger had been groomed before but the last time she was completely taken down to a poodle at a different grooming place and I was so shocked I could not talk. But Weston met w me I showed him the prior grooming pic saying I don't like that! He looked at her pointed out she had some matting but said he would do his best. Weston rocks....Ginger is beautiful! My husband and I love her look! Weston you are outstanding! Ginger has found a new man in her life in Weston!

Took my GSD to the self service bathing area. The staff are AMAZING and so helpful! Fennel was very attentive and helped me lift my very large boy into the sink and explained the ingredients for different skin types etc...

By FAR the best groomer in Kansas City! They are efficient and most importantly do a wonderful job. They ask all the right questions prior to grooming and have always followed my directions/preferences exactly! I've used a few different of their groomers and all have done a fantastic job. Couldn't be happier with them! HIGHLY recommend especially if you have a poodle mix!

We love the Barkery. They have treats for my dog with 6 teeth, the best food with comparable prices, and their self wash station keeps our doggos so fresh and so clean. Just like OutKast.

My dog came home with sub conjunctival hemorrhages. That means he choked so much that the capillaries in his eyes bled. No one said anything to me when we picked him up. I left a voice message at the Barkery asking if they could explain what happened and nobody called me back. I will never ever ever utilize this facility again.

Great staff, quality selection of food and treats. We love their fairly priced cat treats. Ordering online for pickup is also very easy. Don't have a dog but wish I did just so I could bring them into this store!

We brought our senior mixed breed dog in for a bath and de-shed. It was easy to book the appointment and we got in within a few days of reaching out. Jacob was the bather and he did a great job - our dog was beautiful and clean - money well spent! We will bring her back for future appointments and highly recommend.

Underwhelming experience at the Barkery Spa today. We arrived exactly on time, and the staff seemed indifferent to us being there. Not welcoming or friendly (nor unfriendly) -- just another dog bath to them, apparently. Told me 60 to 90 minutes; they called me in 38 minutes to say they were done. Cool. Arrived back at the Barkery, walked past a person at the main cash register toward the spa in back. Nobody at the spa counter, so I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally said something to the woman I previously passed behind the other counter who, despite me being the only customer in the entire shop, said she hadn't seen me. She said I should pay at her counter, which I did, adding a tip for the groomer at her suggestion, and she called back for my dog. He came out surprisingly wet for a bath + blow dry. Made me think that if it were winter, he literally would have had icicles forming under his chin and cold all over. We normally do self-service baths at another business and, for the price and service, we'll just go back to doing that. The Barkery is a cool place, and it wasn't an awful experience, but if I'm paying almost $70 with tip, I'd expect a dry dog and maybe a smile from the staff.

We take our dog here for every grooming and nail clipping. We have a large breed who can be fairly anxious, so it’s nice to know that he is always well taken care of here and comes home a happy boy

They did a great job and for puppy Love in on short notice. She was all matted up from having long hair she the had to shave her. She looks great and they were very helpful. My only complaint is I wish they had told me it was going to cost me $90 plus tip cause I might have just tried to shave her myself! :)

Our pups love going to see Dana and we can tell the extra effort and love she puts in to help them feel comfortable. Their coats look, feel and smell amazing every single time she works her magic!

The BEST place to get my Granddogs nails trimmed/dremmeled (walk in-no appt. needed) & buy their food. Great staff….kind and loving! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. So glad they are in our neighborhood.

They did a super job on Juan. Little puddle but hair was matted and beyond curly! He looked adorable when I picked him up. I wish I could remember the groomers name!

I love brookside bakery & bath.
