STAY AWAY. Had car a total of 54 days for a $5800 transmission "exchange" - no rebuilt - problem.
Picked up the first time after 30 days Made it 2 hours - had to get towed again for the same problem.
While at AAMCO shop they wreck it moving cars around (picture). They paid for the damage and had it fixed - but zero discount due to this accident.....nope. Just don't come here.

My car been there over a month and still not fixed, saying their mechanic can't find the problem but it's a electrical problem they can't fixed but clearly they special on electric problems but hopefully this week we will know something.. smh.. this my first time with them so I pray it be fix soon

I give this place a one star first and foremost I brought my car in to get checked and they tell me I need a motor I get the motor fixed then my car still not running right all of a sudden I need a transmission. I go to another shop and get a transmission put in and lo and behold. There’s a guy that used to work there and he tells me that I didn’t even need a new motor, I paid for some things to get fixed that didn’t get fixed. My check engine light is back on. I’m still leaking oil and they told me that they would have to keep my car for three weeks because of the warranty that they should have looked at in the first place before they gave me my car back total rip off this place. Definitely would not recommend at least the one on Troost

I wouldn't buy anything from these guys. They will get you parts that you don't even need and then charge you an insane amount of money for work that you also don't need. Then they tell you they can't return the parts you don't need because they aren't a "parts shop". Would not recommend it at all.

I cannot say enough good things about the manager and staff here. They were super helpful and went out of their way to get me back on the road even though the problem I had wasn't something they normally fix.

Very helpful coordinating and communicating to me the issues with my car. It was unclear what was wrong with my car, they did a courtesy check and explained everything clearly after their findings.

This place was awesome from the phone calls the building looks awesome the mechanics are awesome I rate this store amaco on troost South 10 star rating Putu and helmut helped me was great 100% please give them a bonus. Prices were very cheap Awesome place.

They were the only shop willing to help out at late afternoon on Black Friday. Front desk was super friendly, and the tech was super helpful and pricing was great. Would absolutely recommend!

My experience with this AAMCO location was very positive! The service was friendly and personable. They communicated timelines clearly, and service was done within a week of bringing it in. They fixed my car and test drove it to ensure it worked and was safe for me. Would definitely recommend and would come back if something else happens to my car.

I had a horrible morning today. I ran into a pothole and received a flat tire. I was able to pull into their parking lot. Went inside to ask if it was ok for me to stay there till someone could help me with a flat. Dave said he would be more than happy to help me. He jacked up my car and put the spare on with in minutes. He then went the extra mile and took it inside to make sure that it was ruined. He was the kindest person. Dave thank you so much. I wasn't even late to work. If I ever need car work, I will be back.
