The worst auto repair experience of my life. I Was promised by Susan that my engine could be repaired. They did the work, around $5000. Susan called to tell me it was ready and "running like a top."I arrived to find out the car had been towed (at my expense) to the dealership for diagnostic. Susan then demanded payment. I regrettably, and embarrassingly, paid her...I then called the dealership, they told me the engine was locked up, "wouldn't even crank over."I had the car towed back to Susan, she then stated that it would need a new engine block and demanded up front payment for the lowest mileage motor. I declined, obviously, opting for another used engine that required some risk on their part. They placed the used motor in the vehicle requesting around $2000 and asked if I would like to have the timing chain from my previous, locked-up motor, placed on the engine as they could not return the kit. I, obviously, declined placing the used (probably damaged) timing chain on the motor. After several weeks, I was called and told the car was ready. I picked it up, test drove the vehicle. After a few miles, the engine light started flashing, the motor was misfiring, running terrible. I took it back to the shop who told me it would be around $1300 to repair the vehicle for a third time. I declined.I am embarrassed that I was taken advantage of by this shop. But, the lessons I learned, I want to pass on to others. Do NOT pay for your repairs unless you have proof that they are done. Do NOT take your vehicle here for any major repairs.
