My daughter was signed up with a big for about a year and a half, then the big stopped, because of having a baby. Tried signing my daughter up again and never heard anything back . Kept saying that they tried calling. Phone number never changed but no phone call ever came through.

Greetings: I called BB and Sisters scheduled a appt way in advance. Called twice and both reps stated they would be here. I carried 16 bxs from my basement to the porch all labeled. Pick up was supposed to be on 8/31 after 12n. No show and its 6:30p. No worries all going to the garbage dumpster. Very inconsiderate. They at least could have called. I will never deal with them.again ..6:30p..Going to the dumpster..

I had called big Brothers and big sisters schedule appointment took all my stuff outside of the night before 7 AM they called and canceled at 10:30 in the morning reschedule for July 1 I by myself because I live alone moved all the stuff back outside and they never showed up I would not depend on these people they do not do what they say you might as well take it somewhere or just thro in the trash Because they don’t want it either they are definitely a big no-show too much work to donate !!! I will call a trash bin and dump it in the city trash. I tried you guys never show up

Started off ok ended terribly the BIG hardly spent time with my son he would be gone 30min to 1hr and would only go to cafe like places only did a couple of real activities (literally maybe 2 )and began being flaky...not coming around or communicating for weeks at a time not showing up started acting like how his father used to (triggered) My son's Big decided he was no longer a good fit for him after a while and ultimately abandoned him. That was hard to explain to him ? Due to this experience it has made my child feel terrible about himself his self esteem is low and no matter what I say or do he feels defeated I honestly wish I never entered him into the program I feel bamboozled and my son he still hasn't gotten over it. What an experience ?
