We so enjoyed the Longest Night service at Bethtel Inotrd Church of Christ. The service was perfect, full of beautiful and meaningful readings, scripture, music and lighting of candles. The music was lovely and the congregation was so friendly and welcoming. I really liked the minister, Laura. She did a reading that was filled with so much emotion and feeling.

My wife and I, and our two daughters, were looking for a church community that welcomed all people with open arms and we finally found it. We have been members for a few months now and really enjoy the new friendships and genuine care for all people that you find at Bethel. Come visit and see why we love it.

When my grandparents' church was closed and I met my husband, he started taking me to Bethel where his family grew up attending and I was instantly welcome. It has grown to be my church home even if I don't get there as often as I would like. Pastor Karen is a very warm soul who makes you feel welcome, loved, and important along with all the other members of the congregation. Not only were all three of our daughters baptized at Bethel, but I was baptized as well with our oldest daughter.

Very caring, loving church with a congregation that offers friendship and love each time you walk through the door. Very connected to the church's mission and living their faith.

Yes, the folks at Bethel UCC have been warm, welcoming, genuine and caring. Pastor Karen is fantastic, a dynamic storyteller and crusader for justice. Bethel also honors a wide variety of musical styles and talents along with the traditional hymns, it is always an engaging service with lots of joy shared among the congregation. I’m so happy that my family found our church family!

I was a bit overwhelmed with how nice and welcoming the people at this church were to me. I showed up on a snowy day in April for their service and was pretty visibly queer and everything went great. They're genuine and their service was about an hour and ten minutes and had the right amount of participation from the congregation and singing and the sermon was just what I needed that day.
They're a lot smaller than my home church and the intimate setting kind of caught me off guard. I really found the whole experience so charming and really enjoyed being in their sanctuary.

The congregation was very warm and welcoming to our family. For those unsure of smaller congregations, the Bethel family is open and friendly without the "swarm" one can sometimes experience visiting a small to mid-sized home of worship. They are accepting of all - including our daughter with more significant developmental disabilities. It was very evident that the members of the congregation talked and planned after our first visit on how they could be inclusive and accommodate our daughter if we returned after our first visit to Bethel. Of couse we did return and were warmed by the feeling of family, the laughter and light-heartedness of the people and down to earth nature of Pastor Karen. I whole-heartedly encourage others to check out this church and it's congregational family.
