Avery's is a great place to get your hair cut. Michael, the owner schedules your time so you are the only one there. It's all about you! He also trims my beard. My wife says it's the best haircut I've ever had.

I have gone to many expensive hair salons in Dallas and I have gotten the best haircuts of my life here!! Michael and Patricia truly understand hair and give amazing cuts suited to your hair and their prices are very reasonable. My mom, sister and I all have very different hair and hairstyles and all of us love love love their cuts. I now live in Wyoming and get my hair cut here every time I’m in town!! 5 STARS!

I love this place so much, you hair will grow out as beautifully as it looks the day after it's cut. My mom always got color done here and it looked so natural and beautiful on her. I live on the east coast and whenever I travel to KC I get my hair done at Avery's. I will go to Avery's forever!

I love my hair! This is the first place that I have gone to where they did not cut too much hair off and the style is exactly what I asked for. Patricia was an absolute doll and she really listened to what I wanted and even showed me what she planned on doing to my hair before she proceeded. The inside of the shop is very cozy with the feel of an old fashion hair salon that you just do not seem to find anymore these days. I loved that they showed my how to style my hair and even what type of rollers to get and where to get them.

I cannot say enough good things about Pat & Michael. This brother/sister duo do hair right -- with an old school service ethic. Pat's understanding of color allows her to create the perfect shade for you without it looking "done." It looks like that was the color nature intended for you. And because of the way she does it, your hair will not look "un-done" if you don't make it in for a touch up regularly. But she also has an adventurous side, so if you want to so something more trendy, like an ombre or vivid color, she can do that too! Michael is the master of the hair cut. His innate understanding of how hair wants to lay and his old school training on how to cut allow him to give you a cut that will look great both when you walk out the door and 8-12 weeks later. Michael gets a little chatty while he is cutting so allow more time than you normally would for one of those wham-bam salons -- but the extra time is worth the quality of the cut. And like I said, they are creating a salon experience that harkens back to an earlier time, when getting your hair done was meant to be a relaxing time-out.

I love my new cut and color! Michael did the cut. He is so talented!! Pat did the color and did an excellent job of giving me a natural looking blonde. If you want to get compliments get your hair done at Avery's.
