I moved in about a month ago and the entire process has been smooth and easy. I absolutely love living here, the staff and my neighbors. I would highly recommend living here.

So thankful for our time at Apex? VERY well kept, VERY attentive and personable staff, VERY secure. You will not find better leasing managers or maintenance team in KC!
Pros:
-Quaint little community with well planned social events each month and a very luxurious feel inside (the gym literally smells like a spa inside a resort)
-The pool opens early in the year which we were so thankful for and it is often very quiet and relaxing unlike some other complexes that can get very chaotic and loud
-We never had any issues with bugs/pests whatsoever.
-The apartments are hugeee- everyone was shocked that my secondary bedroom was not a master. Each apartment has a balcony as well.
-The location is one of the best parts—breathtaking sunset view every single night and a 15 minute walk to PNL so you don’t have to worry about parking downtown ever!
Cons: (these don’t even come close to outweighing the pros but writing them for completeness!)
-Every now and then there were issues with the keyless entry system and valet trash service (not the complex’s fault and they were very empathetic)
- There is a significant fee to rent out the clubhouse amenity for private parties which kept us from using it
-Witnessed a few car break ins that were street parked (this is bound to happen anywhere in KC) and some criminal activity about a block away but residents get free access to a gated lot and can pay extra if they want garage access. Security also patrols the area at night and I never felt unsafe.
-Slightly more expensive than other options in KC but you truly get what you pay for and we have no regrets!
If we didn’t have to relocate to another state, we would have 100% stayed at this apartment no matter the cost! Thank you for everything Apex!

Christina has been amazing and helped me get into an apartment quickly and she reaches out frequently to make sure I have everything I need and feel welcome. The building is beautiful and I am in love with my new home.

Lived here for over a year & absolutely loved it! Christina in the front office is so so helpful with anything you need & maintenance is so amazing at taking care of your home in a timely manner. 10/10 living experience here ?

When first moving in, my partner and I were so happy with our decision on leasing here. I can’t say the same about it now. We were told that the train that passes by our building, wouldn’t be a problem and we were lied to. There’s always people shooting fireworks and cars doing burnouts very frequently too. It’s just not as quiet or peaceful as they made it seem to be. We have a ceiling leak (that’s spreading) in our kitchen and they were informed MONTHS ago and still til this day, isn’t fixed. They literally gave us a plastic bucket for the water leak until they could “fix” it. There’s just always something going on here and it’s frustrating that management takes forever to get anything resolved. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone and I’m glad our lease is coming to an end soon.

I can’t say enough amazing things about the on-site team at Apex on Quality Hill! They are always going above and beyond for all their residents and the property is stunning! I would recommend living at Apex on Quality Hill!!!

I've lived here for about 5 months now and I can't say enough good things about living here! The apartments themselves are really nice (I especially appreciate the ample storage/organization relative to comparable complexes). The location is unbeatable - it's close to downtown or to the highway, in a quiet and cute neighborhood, there's easy parking for guests, and there are fantastic views in all directions around the complex. What really makes this place, though, is the management. I've never lived in a place where the building management is so attentive and responsive to its residents - Christina and Stephan always go above and beyond and they're also just a joy to see and talk to around the building!
Other random stuff:
Maintenance has been fast and easy, goundskeepers are attentive (sidewalks were salted and lot was plowed fairly quickly throughout the winter), and the package lockers are really convenient. You *can* hear the trains from here, but I don't notice it anymore from where I'm at in the building. I used to live in older buildings that struggled with HVAC/insulation so having Nest and overhead fans has been a luxury. My personal favorite thing about it here is being able to walk downtown, to the River Market, to West Bottoms or Westside :) If you're looking for a place to rent downtown, this one is a gem!

Apex on Quality Hill has been the best apartment experience I have ever had! Christina and Stephan have been the two I’ve gotten to know the most out of the team and they have been so thorough and follow up on everything! Made our move in process so easy and they are always lovely to talk to! The resident appreciation week was so sweet, like what apartment does that?! Couldn’t be happier that we found Apex!

I instantly fell head over heels for this apartment complex the moment I walked into the leasing office! Christina's warm and friendly welcome made it such a delightful experience. It was so refreshing to see a leasing agent who genuinely cares and is excited about the complex they represent – an instant green flag for me! The neighborhood is incredibly peaceful, and all my neighbors are so friendly. The apartment is gorgeous, with great views, an awesome pool, and gym!I've been living here for a month now, and anytime I have a maintenance issue, Christina and the service team are quick to respond. Loving every moment here! Out of all the apartments I've lived in, this is by farrrrr the best one.

So far so good! We signed our lease yesterday but have been working with the lovely Christina since about November or so and truly do not have enough good things to say about her. She knew the complex inside and out and was so informative during our initial tour. Since applying - she has gone above and beyond to follow up with us, answer our questions and help make this entire process is simple and straightforward. She does an excellent job remaining patient and helpful while answering ALL of my questions and making us feel welcome, wanted and a part of the community! If you are thinking about touring or checking out the property - Christina couldn't have been more accommodating! We are so excited to move in and can't wait to call Apex home!

Excellent local management team, maintenance team and location. My low rating is due to the owners (JVM Management) continuing to add junk/nuisance fees - most recently $13 per mos to cover owners liability in addition to having my own renters insurance policy. Currently charges for pest control, "service charge", sewer, stormwater, trash service, valet trash, water service, etc. Overall great place but be aware of the continued adding of junk/nuisance fees by JVM Management.

I have been so happy living here! The amenities, location, and size of the units are so nice. And the front desk staff is always so pleasant and friendly! Christina and Stephen have answered many of my questions and are always quick to respond with anything I need. Highly recommend living here!

Just moved in and I'm obsessed. The neighborhood is so cute and quiet, yet just a stone's throw from Broadway and all the downtown things. Surface lot parking is included, but I find it more convenient to park on the street, where I can always find a spot and feel totally safe (as much as anywhere) leaving my car. No fresh broken window glass in the street every day like other areas of downtown.My unit is updated and clean, and the few minor maintenance requests I've made were resolved within a day. Leasing staff have been helpful, responsive, and kind (thanks, Stephan!), and even the residents I've met have been warm and welcoming.I love the package system, love the door system, love the gym, love the pool table / shuffleboard table, and can't wait to love the heated pool in a few months too! :)
