We have been to this clinic since we moved to the area and 2015. I absolutely adore Dr. Cupp and his staff. They have helped us so much. Dr. Cupp was also super patient with one of our dogs that had some aggression issues. I could not recommend him more. The best vet we have ever had.

We’ve been bringing our dogs here for a long time. Always excellent care. Everyone is kind and caring from the front desk, to the groomers, the vet techs and Dr. Cup. When we had to euthanize one of our dogs, they showed so much compassion making the difficult decision less painful.

Dr. Cupp is an excellent Vet and pretty much saved my dog Sadie. I'm so glad he was recommended as a second opinion. It is now 5 months later and my girl is thriving. To the whole staff, thank you and bless you!

Have been going to Animal Clinic of Newmark for 22 years. I was always able to get in with or without an appointment if my pets needed to be seen. Love, Loved Christine, always compassionate and always told me to bring my pet in whether my Yorkie or my cat.
Recently, my Yorkie was showing bloat and out of breath. She was still eating, drinking and wanting to go for short walks. I called the office to see if they could see my Yorkie, which they made an appointment. We saw improvement on my Yorkie's condition. Couple of days later, I called again to give my dog's symptoms and was told by another receptionist, who I was not familiar with, said they were short staffed and could not see her. I had never been turned down in 22 years. The receptionist was quite rude and did not offer any suggestions. Approximately 3 days later after hours my Yorkie was having distressed breathing, and I was not about to take her to Mission Specialty Emergency which is on their after hours message, because it was too far. I took my Yorkie to a local emergency Vet after hours in which I found out my dog was in congestive heart failure. Needless to say I made the decision to put my dog down.
This was not in my dog's end of life plan. I wanted Dr. Cupp to handle her final days/hours since he is very compassionate and knew my dog for 13 years and 9 months. (He handled my other pets end of life as well) I doubt he was told from the rude receptionist that my dog was in distress. Christine would have had me come in regardless.
Animal Clinic of New Mark is going through some changes. I hope they send out a notice to their clients if they are planning on closing the office. They have skeletal staff and no longer have any groomers. We were recently turned away from that service as well. I am disappointed that Dr. Cupp could not oversee my Yorkie's end of life. Our trust in Dr. Cupp regarding our animals was sacred. I wish we had received some kind of notice on the situation at Animal Clinic of New Mark and had received professional and compassionate direction when needed it recently.
Whatever is going on at Animal Clinic of New Mark, I wish Dr. Cup well and best of luck.

If you have cats don't go here. I came here a few months ago to have blood work done on my senior cat because he had lost a little weight and was being finicky about eating. Told me everything looked fine except his liver enzymes were a tad out of wack. Told me to give him this medication called denamarin. Turns out it's not even medication. Its just a liver support supplement. Tried to charge me 90 dollars for it when I could get it off chewy for 32. Fast forward a month my cat still loses weight. I ask if I can get antibiotics to make sure it's not a bacterial infection in his liver. Was told to bring him in to have his thyroid checked because on his blood work originally he came up borderline for hyperthyroidism. He never told me that and only told me something looked slightly wrong with his liver. I bring him in and he doesn't even want to do the thyroid test because now my cat's skin had started to turn yellow and he said he suspected liver cancer. Yet never did a liver biopsy never confirmed anything with a test. Sent my me and my cat home with steroids to "make him comfortable" instead of giving me hyperthyroid medication because his symptoms prior to that were text book hyperthyroidism minus the yellowing skin. Liver damage (yellowing skin) usually occurs as a secondary effect to an underlying condition like hyperthyroidism. I can literally feel the enlarged thyroid gland in my cats neck myself. I have a very close friend who is a vet in NY and he looked over my cats bloodwork himself. He told me he should have given my cat hyperthyroid medication and perhaps he would still be here. I feel like I failed my cat for bringing him here to an incompetent "professional" who clearly only cared about trying to milk money out of me and making the situation worse so he could get even more money out of me. Worst experience of my life and I couldn't be more upset with the lack of care I received here. My baby paid the ultimate price for it too and is now being put to sleep.
