I brought some coins in to have them take a look at them. They did graciously, even though I stated I had no intention of selling them.
They gave me, honest feedback, and actually ended up, saving me some money from sending coins in to get graded that I wouldn’t have been happy with the results.
If you were in the coin market, go support these fine people!

After my father passed, I took a collection of coins to John and he patiently went through all of them and gave us a good price. We have found another batch and taking them to John for round 2. The positive reviews led me here and I agree with them - John is a nice and honest guy!

John is very knowledgeable and very fair. He will evaluate every coin and offer Grey sheet prices with no obligation to sell. I would recommend calling in advance if you have a collection to give him enough time to be accurate on the prices.

I should have left this review months ago but I figured better late than never. I had the pleasure of visiting this coin store twice during the past yr. The last time I stopped by, I was purchasing some of the classic Whitman folders for my son, who’d shown an interest in coin collecting. The owner was extremely patient, answered all of my questions. Before I left, he asked me the year my son was born & after telling him, he gave me a mint set of coins from that year, as a gift to my son! Such customer service is a rarity these days & I genuinely appreciated it.
