We booked 2016 Main for our wedding reception in October 2023 and can’t recommend this place enough for your event. The space is beautiful with a fun and unique atmosphere, meaning you don’t have to put a lot of effort into your own decor. Both the previous owner Pat and the new owner Nico were fantastic to work with. I felt they both truly went above and beyond during our wedding planning process to answer all of our questions and provide a lot of recommendations for us. And the actual day went perfectly thanks to Nico’s attentiveness and preparedness, reducing a lot of stress on our part. Thank you so much!!

We could not be happier with our experience hosting our wedding at 2016 Main! The venue space and art is unique and the location in the crossroads is fantastic. The new owner, Nico, has made positive improvements to the space and the venue offerings over the last year. He was very easy to work with and responsive to our questions up until the last minute. Being able to host our ceremony there and have our reception go past midnight were two big perks.

Nicolas and Ramon did a fantastic job taking over this event space to throw wonderful weddings, they will work direct with you to ensure all the details you want are met and everything as far as setups, payment, and the event its self went easy with their help. Scott another worker who has been at the facility before Nicolas and Ramon took over was one of the best additions to the day, he loves weddings more than anyone I met and did a lot of work with the best attitude, if you need a wedding hype man around he's your guy. The space was wonderful and we had a great time, if we get married again we'll come back.

I highly recommend 2016 Main Event for any of your entertaining needs! We hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner there and EVERYTHING was perfect from beginning to end. Working with Nico was a real pleasure…easy, professional, fun, and attentive to all of the details. The space is beautiful and well-maintained. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience at 2016 Main Event!

2016 Main is the perfect space to celebrate. The exposed brick, beautiful wood floors, and tastefully curated art and decor create such an elegant ambiance. The layout of 2016 allowed for a harmonious flow throughout the evening with plenty of space for dancing, mingling and intimate conversation. Our guests loved the craft cocktails made with quality ingredients and beautifully garnished. We also had several comments of appreciation on the wine selection. We are so grateful to Nicolas for helping us create the wedding we envisioned. Although we planned the wedding while living in Denver, we never lost any sleep knowing that we had Nicolas’s experience and keen taste on our side.

I hosted a 10 hour NFL Draft Experience at 2016 Main for our clients. Nico and his team were amazing to work with. They were beyond helpful navigating everything with multiple vendors, streets being shutdown, talent attending our event, planning our bar, helping us with food vendors and more. The space is beautiful and the service is top notch. Highly recommend hosting an event here!

As a Kansas City Wedding Officiant I get to see so many beautiful Wedding Spaces, and 2016 Main Event Space and Art Gallery is so among the very best. They feature modern amenities housed within a century-old building, the space is full of character and architectural details, with contemporary aesthetics and luxuries. Super dope hardwood floors, marble accents, a stellar bridal suite and more, it's a tender balance between modern luxury and vintage charm resulting in a stunning space in the heart of Downtown Kansas City. I know you will love it, I know I love Officiating at the 2016 Main Event Space & Art Gallery.

The perfect place! Held a rehearsal dinner here. Great staff! Patrick was so easy to work with. Music selections were spot on. Elegant and cozy all wrapped up in one. Highly recommend.

I catered (with Brancato's) a wedding the other night, first time there. A great place, plenty of room! The owner and his bartenders s5aff were fantastic and very assisting! I look forward to working there again any5ime! A awesome place for a party or reception.

You need to see 2016 Main before you make any decisions about where to hold your event! We had our rehearsal dinner here - about 90 people. It was a wonderful experience. The venue itself has a unique fun vibe that many of the places we toured did not. It's not a space you need to come in and decorate. Look at the photo gallery and you'll see what I mean. All we did was add centerpieces to the tables and the caterer did their setups and the place looked great! Pat and Jodi were both such a pleasure to work with. They were quick with responses to my questions and had no problem with me coming to the venue multiple times before our event to check things out and go over questions. Our rehearsal at the church ended sooner than anticipated so I called Pat to see if we could start our event earlier than planned and he accomodated us even though it would definitely have been understandable if they couldn't. Don't miss this gem!

We recently had our graduate school class banquet at 2016 Main and it exceeded all my expectations! Pat was great to work with as he was reliable, quick with responses, and truly listened to our wishes! I would highly recommend this venue space to all and will keep it in mind for future events.

We rented this venue for a book signing/reading last night for Unspoken Words An Open Diary. Pat and Jodi were so helpful and accommodating. This was a truly special night and the space was the perfect venue.

We hosted our fundraising event here and the event space and staff were perfect. Management helped us plan the event and layout the space so everything flowed well for guests. Everything was setup perfectly when guests arrived. The staff went above and beyond to keep all guests happy throughout the night. The event was a big success and we look forward to returning again.
