Thank you to all of you at Wayside Furniture. Needed a lift chair for my husband and they have many sizes and designs to pick from. Free delivery! The first chair just wasn't right size for my husband. So after just 2 days, went back in to pick larger size. They switched out the chairs that afternoon. Delivery guys so polite and made sure everything worked before they left. It works great for my husband, plus beautiful piece of furniture. Thanks again.

Terry was a great salesman, highly recommended. I came in for a Flexsteel lift chair after looking at Laz boy lift chair. He was very knowledgeable and answered many questions about the quality of the brand. I'm in love with this chair!!!!! Thanks for your help!

These folks have the best customer service. Their products are great and if there's something missing they get right on it and you have it within a week. They need to give customer care classes to other businesses. Thank you for being so wonderful

My wife and I went here looking to purchase a mattress. We saw they had their chiefs win you win promotion going on and we were already planning on getting a new mattress so we thought we would take a look. When we got to the mattress area with the salesman Dave we were immediately directed to the cheapest option without being asked about our budget. We were shown one more mattress and that was it. He then mentioned their higher end mattresses were in another area but we probably didn't need to look at those and walked off . He didn't stop staring the whole time we browsed. After looking at the 2 beds he showed us we were not impressed with either. I approached Dave and asked about the plethora of mattresses that were listed on the website. I wasn't sure if maybe they had them elsewhere so that we could try them out. He then asked if we were looking for the $200 dollars ones. At that point we were done. The in house selection was awful compared to the website. There were maybe 10 in house and 40+ online. Who is going to buy a bed without trying it out? To boot, Dave the salesman was very judgemental. I guess because I was in a simple pair of jeans and a house work shirt we couldn't possibly be looking for anything more than the cheapest. Guys like this are who give salesman a bad name. Suffice it to say, we took our business elsewhere and purchased a mattress of the quality and price WE determined we were comfortable with not the salesman. Won't be going back.

Suppose to be open but lights are off and door is locked.EDIT: I was informed by Steve Head, who is in charge of advertising, over a Facebook message that the location had shut down early that day. Apparently they posted that on their Facebook page and Mr. Head felt that should have been enough of an annoucement. However I don't use Facebook as a way to plan what businesses I will be visiting so I had no way of knowing they had closed early as their website indicated they would be open. I would advise that in the future, they at the very least post a notice on the door of the business so that customers don't hang around outside the business hoping that they are just on break, as that is what I did. Mr.Head asked that I remove my review, but due to the lack of notice at the location I will be leaving this review along with this information.

Came here at 1:57 says it's open but the doors are locked. There was multiple cars in the parking lot. Lights were off. When is it really open?

We moved to Joplin from out of state and had no luck finding anything we really loved for our living room (checked the Joplin Ashely store and furniture row). So I resorted to buying a sectional online. The first one I bought, I hated and sent it back. Bought a second sectional online, hated that one as well. One day driving I noticed Wayside and decided to stop in. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of peices I absoutely loved. Having numerous peices that I loved combined with their great customer service, really provided a great experience. Much better than the big chain stores!! The sectional we wanted was actually too long for our living room but Wayside was very helpful in allowing us to only buy the peices that fit, removing one of the seats to make the sofa smaller and they deducted the price for that piece. Without that additional section, the sofa fits in our living room beautifully.The delivery was free and they even offered to take old furniture if we needed them to do so at no extra cost (we didn't end up doing that because found someone who wanted our old furniture). A day or two after the furniture was delivered, I noticed some "bunching" with the cushion inside the ottomon, which you could see through the outside cover. Since there is no zipper on this ottoman, there was no way for me to fix it. I contacted Wayside and they had the ottoman picked up, repaired, and returned within just a few days (at no cost to me of course). The delivery men were very friendly and professional as well. I will be visiting this store for any future furniture purchases!

Almost 5 yrs ago we bought our 3 piece leather couch set from them. Needless to say our Ashley electric couch started breaking down on one side in the seat and electrical stuff. Where a person's head rest has started doing like our previous couch turning colors. The only reason why I am telling this is because before I agreed to buy this is that I specifically ask him if Ashley Furniture has changed there products to where the head rest area will not turn or pill or break down any. He assured me that they had changed and were better. So I agreed to purchase it which was very expensive. I had called several times to get this dealt with and the last time I called he said, Oh! I thought this was already dealt with. I have never heard from them again . Needless to say, I will not be doing business there again.The furniture broke down very fast and will never buy Ashley again. I will go back to Lazy boy, they stand behind their products.
