Steve's Trading Post is a great place to work. Very friendly and safe work environment. Knowledgeable coworkers and stable customer base. Store has been making customers happy since 1982, must be doing something right.

I don't understand why anyone would not give Steve's a 5 star rating we have bought several guns and ammo from Steve's. They are always kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about firearms. Prices are in line with most dealers and lower on some items, we will always shop at Steve's they have become our go to gun dealer.

The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The gentleman who helped me make my purchase was friendly and professional. They have a good selection of new and used firearms for sale. All in all a great place to go and check out.

I have been to Steve's Trading Post a couple of times. I have been told by several that Steve's is a little higher priced than others. However, I have found a few bargains both the last 2 times I've been. I can't complain!
They were friendly and we even haggled the price a little. To the suprise of others, we enjoyed the visit and enjoyed talking with the staff.

Whoever the old guy with all white hair/goatee is extremely rude. I took an older gun in trying to get an appraisal and potential sale, and he gave me the dirtiest scowl like I offended him when I walked in. Then after playing around with the rifle and looking up on his computer, he asked me what I wanted for it. Gives me another dirty look when I tell him, and then lowballs me $150 under what I asked (which my offer was already half of market value). When I tried to haggle on the price, he legitimately dropped his offer another $50 as if trying to insult me for having the nerve to ask him to move his price. Absolutely take your guns somewhere else, and buy from more reputable people like Liberty Tree Guns or Eagle Outdoors.

Beware! They will sell you Glocks at full value.. but then a month later will try to tell you they are not worth half of what you paid literally 4 weeks before. Oh and will charge you a 9%fee on your credit card and then try to say it is your bank charging that... guess what morons.. we can call our bank and see that isn't true.

Good place to buy guns and ammo but they'll rip you off if you try to sell them gold or silver! They'll give you half of spot if you're lucky and then they drive down the road and sell it for double of what they paid. Just don't like seeing people be done this way! Instead of going here drive to Gold and Silver of Joplin Missouri on Rangeline and they will do you right! It's exactly where these jokers will take it!
