I tried calling three times to find out the policy on returning diapers because I have a newborn and lord knows everything is more difficult right now. I tried at all different times of the day, including during the special members time to call. No one ever answers! Ive tried calling before and no one ever answers. It's like a policy to not answer. Doesn't matter which line I try. So I called a Sams in Fayetteville and they answered on the first ring. They said they can easily do an exchange, even with no reciept. So I went in to return the diapers at Joplin Sam's and they won't let me return them, they wanted to do store credit. I've exchanged diapers here before with a reciept with no problem. But okay, store credit is better than too many of the wrong size diapers. So she asks for my ID and she can look up the purchase using my Sam's card. Except she then refuses to because the Sam's card is my mother's. We live in the same house. We have the same address. But nope. Meanwhile, the phone is ringing. There are two people at the service desk, one is not doing anything and the other seems to be enjoying telling me no about the diapers. So I say, "I tried calling multiple times about the return policy." The lady "helping" me interrupts me and says it doesn't matter if i tried to call because she can't do anything for me if the Sam's card isn't in my name... Regardless of how frustrating the policy is, her attitude made it so much worse. It felt like a power trip that made her feel important. And the phone business is ridiculous. Even WalMart manages to answer their phones. I'm so frustrated. There is zero money involved, I just want to straight exchange. I'm not stealing a membership.

Really disappointed in Sam’s Club.We purchased this mattress yesterday, got it home and before we got it completely unpackaged, noticed this tear in the bottom.We had already removed our old mattress.I emailed the company and I got on Sam’s Online Support, they recommended going back to the store.Went into Sam’s this morning and they said I had to bring the mattress back in to get a refund or exchange. It’s a mattress that is in a box, vacuum sealed. How am I supposed to do that exactly? ?Just really frustrated and disappointed with the whole process. Do NOT recommend getting a mattress at Sam’s.

Service would not answer the phone. Called at two different times. Other associates passed along that they ignore the phone calls.

Very hard to find someone to help with appliances. The cafe is the slowest place in the worldUnless you have scan and go. Costco cafe is 100 percent better

2022 I'm getting tired of all the delay and hold up getting out the door. If it is so important how about we get someone who scans a little faster and spends less time flipping their hair and staring at the scanner like they don't understand.Update: Fall 2022 it's gotten much better! So, up to three stars ?Update march 2023 Nevermind, back to one star!, this store is a big harassment! Held up an older lady at the front door to show her Sam's card, poor lady had to dig for it while holding up about a dozen people behind her. Come on!! Where is the communication to prepare for the entry, and the common sense to pull people to the side and not block doorways. The line getting out was almost as bad.I do NOT need you Sam's! I will not shop or pay to shop where it is a pain and a hassle!And, the next time a cart boy points at me from across the cart bay yells at me or anyone else, DO YOU HAVE A MEMBERSHIP! SHOW ME YOUR CARD!I'll be done with Sam's forever at that instant!!Oct 2023 Tried shopping again, so far so good. No harassment going in, a little slow going out.Jan 2024 No hassle going in the store. Not a huge fan of the cattle chute going out the door but very appreciative of the two workers getting people out the door quickly. Gained another star from me. Thanks

First visit to this Sam’s and everyone was very nice and super helpful. Honestly I think we’ve found our new Sam’s club favorite.

I thought I'd try a membership while a special was going . They promised a partial refund if you used your card within the first 30 days . I never got that , and have been there twice in 3 mo's. had to wait in line both times to open . I find it over crowded with rude , greedy customers. I'm sorry I wasted my $ , definitely won't be re-joining !!!

I bought a steak that was listed as “SATISFACTION GUARANTEED” at Sam’s club the prior week. I wasnt’t happy with it and was told by Destiny that I could not return it because it was meat and was expensive. This is ridiculous - Sam’s club is not honoring it’s satisfaction guaranteed policy. I am going to cancel my membership and just drive an hour every month to Costco where I can find better products, better prices, and an honest return policy. The store manager Rob and membership manager Romesh were also absolutely no help. The only reason people go to Sam’s club is if they cant drive to Costco. Shame on you Sam’s club for not having a fair return policy.
