Writing for my dad as he is up in age and doesn't do technology well. Went there on 12/20 to get a windshield fixed and they said 4 hours so (my dad) was like sure. Said they were having issues so they wanted to test drive. My dad was waiting an extra 40 mins when us as a family were supposed to be going on a vacation before Christmas, end up the person who "test drove" came back with personal errands done. They went to to the gas station and got lunch in our car with our gas. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND. They don't give back gas for what they use. Will not be going back. Untrained and unprofessional.

I was on vacation last week and had met semi that threw a small pebble up and cracked my windshield. They assessed the damage and told me the windshield would need to be replaced. They made an appointment for someone to come out to my house to replace the windshield, and he came out 1st thing Friday, and the job was finished within an hour and a half. I recommend Safelite if you want good quality and friendly service. Because they do work around your schedule and they're honest about their work.

They gave me clear instructions for my service schedule. The staff was friendly and available when I called with questions. They completed the windshield replacement in half the time expected. Service was professional and convenient.

Booked a windshield appt online using my VIN. Was quoted around $400 with a discount applied. Days after appt, the office in SGF called and said it was going to be over $900 after reviewing my vehicle in more detail. She said it was because it would need camera calibration. Booked with another local in Joplin for a little over $500 total. Safelite seems to have a bait and switch game going on but blame it on their website not being accurate for estimates. Never again

I had them to replace the motor In the back driver side window. Which took 2 hours to do. I get home and my driver side front and back doors won't lock passenger side works fine . They said it not there fault. Well kinda funny the same side they worked on now won't lock. And while I was sitting there waiting on my car 3 other cars they was working on ended up having

If I could give them a 0 star, I would. We took our 2019 Toyota to the Joplin, MO location on Wednesday for a new windshield and new windshield wipers, which was recommended by them. Yesterday (Thursday), it was raining and the driver side wipers did not work and the wind coming thru the windshield was so bad that it vibrates the dash of the vehicle. We immediately called and it took over an hour to get ahold of a live person who was a technician and was very rude. He said they were busy and would not even look at for almost 2 weeks. We contacted the corporate office and spoke to someone who was going to call us back first thing this morning. That did not happen. We will be getting our windshield replaced somewhere else and also contacting the credit card company to refuse the charge. I will deliver their windshield back to them. Definitely DO NOT recommend!

Was sent to dealership to recal after new windshield was installed. Dealership found bracket was not installed correctly. Safelite reinstalled bracket and didn’t come out multiple days with limited to no communication. Just was advised they can’t do anything to fix it and if dealer cannot recalibrate, they aren’t sure what can be done. None of my advanced system, adaptive cruise, lane departure, etc work and have not for weeks.

Took 2021.Nissan Rogue into Joplin store to repair a rock chip. My wife was told he had to make the Crack bigger and then repair it in order to save the windshield. Told him to go ahead and do it as we did not want to replace entire windshield at this time. He does the repair and nicely states come back if you have any problems. Now a little over 2 weeks later the Crack is continuing to get bigger and bigger. Took car back in and two of the workers said they didn't do it and proceeded to tell my wife the repair wasnt done right. Office manager (know his name but wont say it on here) comes out of office and wife recognizes him and says he's the one that fixed it. He proceeds to fumble around gets on the phone to make some calls (obviously to his higher ups. Comes out and says can't help you and walks away.

I've used these folks multiple times now since they handle the insurance work for our car insurance company. I've had them replace a windshield and repair chips and each time I had a ton of communication. Their staff was prompt, friendly, and up front about not giving guarantees on the chips, that they could crack the windshield trying to patch them (they didn't), etc. Some of the bad reviews may have had legitimate concerns, no company is perfect, but some also sound like they are simply upset about their circumstance and wanting someone to blame. Make sure your car insurance has zero deductible glass coverage and you will have a lot less stress about windshield damage which is extremely common.

Would give this place zero stars if I could. My husband and I were so disappointed about the quality service we got from here. Especially since it’s satélite. A place you should be able to trust!Drove almost an hour for our appointment to find out window had a “blemish”We reschedule the appointment for the following week. Drove back again, for them to tell me I had to wait a few more hours until my window was ready. Hang out in town for a bit.. wait for a couple hours.. to get a call and them tell me that my window was on back order and they don’t know when they’ll have a window available. We’ve never had such bad service. Plus the disrespect from the individuals back n forth between all of this was just horrible.Save yourself some time and please go some where else. Any where else.

After a multitude of calls by my husband and myself we were never able to talk to a person. Upon calling several numbers we found for them you go circles in their automated system. If you are looking for window repair then go local with one of your mom and pop shops.

Needed a windshield replacement and went to first appointment but the replacement had several scratches. So the tech reschedules and says he'll inspect the next one and call me the day before so I don't drive an hour and a half (one way). Guess what? No call. I called customer service and left an online message. Crickets. This is not the same company it used to be - find someone else!
