Clean the bathrooms. Very unsanitary!! This place has gone hill! I stopped a lot. In the future, I don't think I'll be stopping here.

This place has really gone downhill in terms of customer service. I've been coming into this place for years, but it seems like for the last few months they have drastically gotten worse when it comes to doing anything in a remotely decent pace. No matter how many people are behind the counter, there is always a ridiculously long line, and I stand in line a minimum of 10 to 15 minutes it seems like. And there are many times where there's a long line and there's only one person behind the counter running a register, but yet there's two or three other people behind the counter doing something else instead of opening up registers and helping take care of the line. There is nothing convenient about stopping in here. It is a guaranteed 10 to 15 minutes now any time you have to go inside.

Needed wireless earbuds. Picked out some, waited in line while she had to go ?? ( which took a LONG time). She finally came back only to say they didn't have any of those. I went back to shelf and picked out another pair, a headset. Waited in line again, she went off to ??, only to return and say sorry, don't have any of those either. Argghhh! Check your stupid shelves against what you DO HAVE! Very frustrating! Don't bother shopping there.

Your typical flying J. Nothing spectacular but they keep it relatively clean. Staff is usually friendly on occasion you get a "I would rather be somewhere else" employee but we all have those days.

We reserved a $15 parking spot which we shouldn't have because it's 8:15pm and there's still a lot of free parking available. Truckers I would advise to wait on reserving a parking spot. Overall this truck stop is clean with hot food. Their chicken tenders are good and pot roast was tasty. Sides was delicious which was Mac n cheese and green beans. Bathrooms are clean. Store is kept neat and stocked. If you like cookie dough, they have these cup containers for $3.49 each. It's my favorite from these truck stops

Great place to stop to stretch your legs but I only rated it as a 3 not because anything was wrong but just nothing spectacular. If you haven children the bathrooms are clean, but there is a lot of gifts to look at that might cause melt downs If you are traveling to see someone and need a last minute gift, there is something for everyone in this shop. There is a sit down restaurant inside if you want to feel like you are dining out. There is also a Pizza Hut & Taco Bell combo to grab something quick. Plenty of room inside to stretch your legs, walk around and look at some semi trucks. Lots of options on quick food, snacks, and beverages. Don't forget to fill up before you leave! Safe Traveling

Breakfast at 9:45 a.m. Waitress - Kayla. Third time eating at a Denny's and as expected, everything was great. Our waitress Kayla did a superb job of taking care of everyone in the restaurant. She appeared to be the only waitress coming off the night shift. She was attentive and knew instinctively when the customers needed something. Pancakes, eggs, bacon toast and English Muffins were done right and great. We Like their Hash Browns and they were cooked the same at all the Denny's we visited. Highly recommend. My Qualifications as an Experienced Food and Service Critic; I have been trained in two culinary schools to include on-the-job training at other different venues. I've managed full service as well as fast food restaurants and have also had my own catering business. As a trainer, I have trained personnel on how to provide superb cuisine and customer service. I am now retired.

Usually stop here before leaving Joplin. Restrooms could use some tidying. I've only purchased snacks and drinks here. They offer a variety of hot and cold food, fountain drinks and coffee. This Flying J is also attached to a Denny's. Nothing too unique about this travel center.

If you come here for some fried eggs or fried chicken, then it's the Frying J. But generally, it's not. This Flying J is a massive truck stop megacomplex with all kinds of typical truck stop stuff... in here they have a Denny's and they have cheap gas and they have a little bit of everything that you might need. Showers are $10 but if you're lucky you can actually get one for free by sneaking in with a trucker. I'm kidding! Kind of. Gas is usually average in price, or a little cheaper, but the only thing I should warn you about is that it's very busy here cuz it's right at the intersection of Interstate 44 and Interstate 49. And this whole area is full of Truckers. But not their mothers. Otherwise it'd be full of mothertruckers.

Advertised pizza at $2.00 per slice, but charge $3.49. When questioned why, the cashier said we had a cold sandwich not a hot sandwich. Nothing on the advertising anything out the sandwich had to be a hot sandwich. Looks like this will be the last time we stop at this Flying J as there is another truck stop just a few miles south of I-44.

Their gas pumps do not accept work vehicle gas cards. Had to go to a other station...flying j...next time I will fly on by

Very good location to stop at if you are getting on I-44 near Joplin, Mo. They have a lot of good food options to choose from and even have a Denny's restaurant attached. My favorite thing about the Flying J is their selection of coffee! Very friendly staff and the bathrooms are nice and clean!
