520 S Rangeline Rd, JoplinI love this store, even though the cashier's clearly hate their job when I come in but they are young and haven't figured out how to fake it so you can make it yet! Any way, I recently had a bad experience with the Springfield location, I was visiting my mother and forgot to bring my dogs proof of Rabies vaccine with me. When I called to check if they needed it the lady was so rude, she kept interrupting me, it was so bad I had to hang up! I found my dogs vaccine in an email but decided to wait until I got back to Joplin. When I made her an appointment the lady was super nice but told me they would definitely need to see her rabies shots, there was a bite in there. I explained to the lady what happened and she apologized for the Springfield store. She was respectful and actually let me talk! I love the Joplin store very much. Please show your employees some love!!

325 N Tyler Ave, JoplinJim at The Pampered Pooch worked with my dog Hermes for just a few weeks and the difference is night and day! Hermes was VERY skittish around other dogs to the point where he couldn’t be around them. In just a few sessions, Jim changed that. He was able to walk on leash with Jim’s dog without any issues. We are so appreciative of the hard work he put into our training and Hermes loved him. Thanks Jim!

Blackstone Gastropub
1521 E Broadway St, JoplinI let Mrs. K. do the searching for tonight's dinner and it was a winner. She picked Blackstone to have dinner with our daughter and her roommate. We were warmly welcomed and brought to a table. Our waiter was attentive at taking orders, answering questions and refilling drinks. We started with the charcuterie tray which was a nice mix of cheeses and meats and pickles. Plenty for the carnivores and the vegetarians at the table. My wife had the fish and chips. A big portion of crispy fish and half of it came home. I chose the brisket burger which was a big patty and a thick slice of brisket, upgrading to the mac & cheese for a side. With the big appetizer, half of this also came home and was the next day's lunch. Blackstone has a nice selection of beers and other drinks. We had no trouble picking some delightful frosty adult beverages and enjoyed our evening here. Great service, not too expensive, a lovely meal. I'd return to Blackstone Gastropub! Haydon was courteous, prompt, and very knowledgeable about all the flavors that were sugar-free (I have dietary restrictions). The location is perfect and the facility was clean. Haydon thanks for the level of attentiveness that make guests feel special. Will definitely be returning.
